Can someone help me install mods using the Scarab installer? Whenever I try to use the installer it crashes on me. Reading over the HKMP github, is a beta of enemy sync part of the mod, or is it just being worked on? The page isn't all that clear on it

The EnemySync stuff isn't in the mod at all currently

It's stuff that's being worked on, but it's essentially still very early stages, and there's no release that includes the work that's been done.
||there is technically an old 1432 release that has the original testing for it, which is 3 godhome bosses, but that is so outdated that I wouldn't recommend even testing out the ESync in that anymore.||

MultiWorld requires RandomizerMod3.0

You can use a multiplayer mod with them.
You would want to use HKMP though, not "MultiplayerMod" from Mod Installer. There's a link to HKMP in the pins

So to check for future people asking: to do it properly, you get RandomizerMod 3.0 from the 1.4.3.2 modloader. Then you can get MultiWorld, and for the multiplayer aspect you get HKMP. (And then you can get skins using CustomKnight, and add whatever after). Did I miss anything in the steps for a multiplayer co-op rando?

Randomiser only works on patch 1.4.3.2 using mod Installer 1 or 2 (I recommend using Mod Installer 2). The thid (ish) pinned message has information on how to donwnpatch through steam (it's about 3 clicks). Once you've done that you can download and open Mod Installer 2, get the mods you need and you'll be good to go.

Just make sure you wait for Steam to actually finish downloading what it needs to before you open the installer.

this is an issue I've had with other games before: The only thing I can say is you'll need to either restart steam, or uninstall the game and download it again.

Dont worry though, Hollow Knight saves are cloud saved from what I can tell

Dead by Daylight used to do that to me all of the time, I know your pain. If redownloading the game doesn't fix your issue, let me know and I'll see if I can figure it out

i've checked pins for this and i'm fairly familiar with hk modding, but for some reason whenever i try using modinstaller2 (1.4.3.2) on windows, it says that the modding api is out of date, and is orange and will not let me redownload it or anything. i have tried installing the api manually, but then the same orange box not downloading issue applies to other mods too. i've tried redownloading the game, replacing and validating files, but nothing will work. any fixes?
