Well, there's a couple things to try. The easiest is to unplug your controller, launch the game, and plug the controller in on the main menu. Another good option, if you haven't already, add the modded installer to steam using the "Add a game" in the bottom left of the library, and then use big picture mode to enable steam inputs and make sure your controller settings are for your right type of controller. And as a last resort, you can download a program to map your controller inputs to keyboard inputs if none of that works.

I believe if you go through all the folders of daughter of hallownest it'll lead you to a skin folder that you can put in the custom knight folder. But the intended way is to merge the managed folder from the skin with your managed folder iirc

you can install them all then enable or disable at will

you can install em all at once but many of em will conflict. You can disable em so they don't take effect and you won't have to uninstall and reinstall mods constantly

Can't do much about that one, unfortunately. Afaik it just stops happening eventually, you can manually install the mods that give you that error though. In case you don't know how, download the mod from the drive with mods linked below, then find the dll for it and move it into your mods folder. Also real quick, try placing the mod installer on your desktop and running it as administrator, don't think it'll work but worth a shot

Hello! Sorry that this isn't exactly about modding, but someone directed me here because I have a problem with a randomly corrupted save. You all know a lot about files and such so I thought maybe someone would know how to help, if not then it's fine, I 100% understand. My main save for Hollowknight got corrupted. Everything was fine last night while I was playing. I ended my session in the middle of Path of Pain and when I came back to it this morning it said Save Corrupted. I don't have any mods installed and I have never touched the files of the game. The only thing me and my friends could think of was that I only have around 5 GB of remaining storage on the drive that HK is on, so maybe there wasn't enough room and it corrupted? I honestly have no idea, and I'm not good with files anyway so this whole thing is beyond my point of understanding. I guess I just wanna know if there is any hope for my save or is it gone for good? Also if I can prevent this from happening in the future that would be great.

Ok so youā€™ll want to right click hollow knight, select properties, then find the beta section and select 1.4.3.2, if I remember correctly

I need help from anyone who knows how to use GODump. I downloaded it and loaded the game and was able to generate the atlases I need by pressing F2, but I canā€™t seem to get the individual sprites after that. Pressing F3 or F4 doesnā€™t do anything. When i run the installer all it says is to update my game to the current stable patch
