Quality of life stuff as the name suggests, i.e. text moves faster, intro cutscenes are skipped or quicker, some glitches that are used for speedrunning are restord (lever skips, inventory dropping, etc.), and some other things. If you want to disable any of these features or see a list you can navigate to the globalsettings file located with your save files

hey, i downloaded the modinstaller, and its good, working well, i tried to install the custom knight mod, everything went as well and everything was installed correctly, but when i try to load the game, it goes to a loading bar, and when it is almost full, the game crashes with a windows sound and no reports, even with no skins inside the skin folder it crashes as well, i really dont know what im doing wrong, maybe cause there are my old saves there, but idk, pls help

Hi, I'm trying to install mods however the ModInstaller application continues to say I don't own the game. The game is installed on my steam account, I own it, and I have executed it before on this computer. When i run the Modinstaller and enable the moding API then i try to run Hollow Knight and it craches.
I reset the ModIntaller and deleted all the mods and tried verifying the game files thru steam and it still crashes.
I didn't have any mods enabled or installed.
Does somebody know how can i fix this?

If you want your game to run properly then delete Assembly-CSharp.dll and verify the files again. Your game also needs to be on version 1.4.3.2 for mods to work. Check the pinned messages

Hi, I've been following a video on installing mods by Culfy, from March of this year. I'm not sure if you know of this video, or how good or bad it may be. Anyway, I've followed their video the whole way through, and when I launch HK, in the top left it says Modding Api, but no other mods, despite the fact that I installed and enabled debug mod. Do you know why this may be the case? I haven't been able to get any other mods to work either.

Speaking of maps, I know there is a .xcf somewhere with each room on a different layer for easily setting up maps of a rando room. My hard drive that had a copy of that file melted, and I can't find it again. Anyone recognize or know where it is?

  2. it gets to the loading screen and infinitely loads (I've waited a full 20 minutes then just task ended it cause it will NOT close via any normal means)

the one time it loaded into kings pass I ended up dying to 3 enraged crystal guardians and it glitched me into the dream sphere where I couldn't pause, move, etc, had to task manager out again
couldn't load the save file again without immediate crashing again, so ended up clearing that and I've been trying to start a new save file since
