Yes, hollow knight mods havent been working this patch. In order to revert to the latest version, click hollow knight's settings on its steam page in your library. Select properties, then betas, and select 1.4.3.2 (i think thats the latest version)

Also, I suggest you use a different multiplayer mod called Hollow Knight Multiplayer, it’s more stable and works better and has it’s own support server, though it’s not on the installer so you’ll need to manually install it. https://github.com/Extremelyd1/HKMP

Verify Integrity doesn't delete the mods, so there's no worry about that three_thumbs_up
It just removes the Modding API, and nothing else

Verify Integrity specifically just checks the files that are part of the vanilla game, and if any of them are different, it re-downloads those files. The only file that is actually changed by mods is the Assembly-CSharp.dll, which is what modding API changes.

I suggest CustomKnight as a good start, though it's not compatible with some mods. Light bringer, redwing, or hollowpoint if you want to mix up base gameplay. Randomizer if you wanna learn the map and skips and stuff. Or one of the numerous very hard boss fights if you want rage. Also I think test of teamwork is a good platforming thing

Open downloads, open the hollow knight folder (Steam lbirary > right click hk > properties > local files > browse), Click and drag the hollow knight data file from downloads into the hollow knight folder (Make sure to unzip the hollow knight data folder by right clicking it and selecting one of the options that says "Extract to"), select "Replace all files in the destination"

Hey all. I think this is the right place to.ask, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

I am playing Lightbringer. Love it so far. Kinda need/want to talk to Sly about the Lumafly Lantern though. And so far as I've seen/heard, you can't do that without fighting Super-Gruz-Mother or getting all the way to the sewers (since you need Sly for the other two paths).

Mod that gives you ranged attacks/charms, but a weaker nail and less health. Regen soul over time too, but no soul from hits.

Depends what you're looking for

I suggest Custom Knight as it's just a pretty simple and cool mod (though it doesn't work with the next 2 mods). Light bringer, hollow point (gun mod) and redwing are all very cool for mixing up the mechanics of the game. Randomizer is a great experience and helps if you want to learn the map, it's secrets, and skips more intimately. And if you want to rage you can try out some of the extra hard boss mods

What's up guys. I've tried downloading the modinstaller, but had the newert version of the game, so it popped off saying I needed to update to a working version. Now, I've created a separated folder with a lower version, but when I open the installer it instantly says I have the wrong version without letting me choose a folder.
