I can see many menus overlays meant to help me in achieving my goal, but unfortunately this seems not obvious to me how to assign a ley making the game instantly reload at a given location, and set this location at any moment as well. If it said it failed to validate some files then it worked and reverted those files

If you opened the mod installer after verifying integrity then it will mod the game again, so just verify again

I'd personally recommend using HKMP instead though, which is a newer Multiplayer mod that's actively being improved.

Sorry, noob question : I'm trying to compile the api (https://github.com/HollowKnight-Modding/HollowKnight.Modding), I followed the instructions up to step 4, but there's an error in the compile step : warning MSB3245: Could not resolve this reference. Could not locate the assembly "UnityEngine.InputLegacyModule, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null".
with Visual Studio 2019.

I have also tried using Rider which (after updating the C# version) gives me a different, more specific error in ModLoader.cs, ligne 305 on the "in":

So, I installed ModInstaller and now when I try to open it I just reveive a message which I will send as a screenshot. I have no clue what it is and I even tried to solve it with a youtube tutorial but it didn't help. It is on german though but in english there just stands: "unhandled exception has occurred in your application...." Has someone an Idea what I could try next?

Is there any reason why I can't find the mods folder in the data folder? I was trying to install Custom Knight skins.

when opening the hollow knight mod thing it says select installation path so I go through files and select hollow knight in app data but it says that its an invalid installation path

Read the setup instructions that were on the main page

You both only need HKMP.dll
