are there any incompatibilities between exaltation and any things like qol or uhkp? because those are basically all im using and i can't get glowing womb to glorify to primal womb, and nailmaster's glory only becomes tenacity and i can't get it to swap to sagesoul. every other charm glorified correctly. but those two things are missing

im using:
additional maps, benchwarp, custom knight, debug, enemy rando, enemy hp bar, exaltation, fragile strength for nail arts, modcommon, qol, randomizer 3, serecore, sfcore, unofficial patch, and vasi. currently the 2 randos, benchwarp, and debug are disabled. only exaltation affects charms, so i can't imagine what could be causing exultation to act like this, and its most recent patch notes don't make any mention of changing or removing any of these things

could i be missing something for the functionality? is there a conflict with one of these things possibly?

The RandoMapMod that's on the installer is not compatible with MultiWorld. There's a testing version that is. I'll try to find a link really quick.

Edit2: Some important info about the new one is that it has Hotkeys-

Ctrl + M to get all the maps! (Skip Elderbug)

Ctrl + G to hide/show the Helper Pins for Grubs and Essence if you don't have them randomized

Ctrl + P to hide/show ALL the pins so you can use it selectively to train back better!

Yeah, it goes into your mods folder. You can use the "Manually install" option on Mod Installer if you're not familiar with the folders, but it would be a good idea to become familiar with them fwiw

on the title screen there is a message in the corner that a mod dll couldnt load, in the modlog i see [ERROR]:[API] - Error: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'System.Runtime.CompilerServices.IteratorStateMachineAttribute' from assembly 'Exaltation'. however as far as i can tell the mod works just fine, is there anything i should be concerned over? is there anything i can do to remove this message on the title screen?

i got this version of exaltation from github, because as far as i can tell the version in the modinstaller is not the most recent version of it, or atleast it has different functionality than the github one i grabbed. or atleast it doesnt match with the changelog for the mod on the github

Did you possibly install two different versions of it at the same time? IIRC, one of the ways a mod can be listed twice, like yours is, is because two copies of it are in the Mods folder, with different names

I have a problem where whenever I play with mods, both false knight and crystal guardian (Non-Godhome) continuously duplicate for some reason, until it lags, and then my world goes wierd. You can always uninstall the API by using Steam's "verify Integrity" option in the games properties menu

• Try having your controller disconnected when launching the game, then connecting it when you get to the main menu

• if that doesn't work, try either using Steam's big picture Mode to use the "Forced Controller" option that will be in the Hollow Knight properties (I think it's available on Mac), or use a program such as Joy2Key to rebind controller inputs to keyboard ones.

I've been trying to change the icon for hollow knight but as usual i am cursed and can't get anything to work. I know this isn't a modding thing, but i, and the people in #hk-help agreed dealing with game files and things would be more approriate here. I'm on mac

i found the "shortcut.icns" folder and replaced it with an image i renamed to "shortcut.icns" and it didn't work. I opened and reopened hk, and restarted my computer. I also made a folder called "shortcut.icns" and put the image in there and then put it in, but everything resulted in just the icon dissapearing altogether

Firstly; which Randomiser?

Secondly; you could try downloading QoL mod, then heading to your save files location and finding "user1.JSON" and seeing if you can find a setting that will put the Watchers back into your world.

whenever I switch skins, all the geo drops become invisible, any solutions to that?

Yeah, go into the "vanilla" skin folder, so the skin folder where the sprites for just the regular knight are, in there should also be a geo.png, take that and copy it into the folder of the other skin your using

If you for some reason don't have the vanilla sprites, or just don't find it, just tell me ill send it to you
