Hello, I installed the AdditionnalMaps mod and I wanted to put the texts in French by modifying the text file.

After registering, I start the game and all mods deactivate as if I had installed no mods.
If I remove all the texts in French, it works again.

I guess I shouldn't do that.

they have to be set up how godump sets them up. if you've downloaded the sprites folder from inkscarlet's video, plonk it in Hollow Knight; if you've downloaded just the knight sprites from benji's message in #modding-discussion pins make a "sprites" folder in "Hollow Knight" and put it in there. so the path to an individual sprite is something like [username]/AppData/LocalLow/Team Cherry/Hollow Knight/sprites/Knight/001.idle/whatever.png

Some controllers don’t work with the api. You can try 1. Plugging it in after the game has loaded the main menu 2. Using steam big picture or a program like joytokey to map controller inputs to keyboard

For ModdingApi: replaces the game’s core file. For other mods: mods are only loaded at startup. Installing others while the game is on will cause them not to load until the game is restarted. Uninstalling mods doesn’t work while it’s on for obvious reasons

Add the assembly-csharp (sent above) in the managed folder (again) and go to saves file location and delete everything that has globalsettings in its name. then add the steam_appid.txt file into the same folder as the exe and double click the exe

hi, i hope this is the right channel for this... i planned to have a separate game file for a modded version alongside my regular (steam) one, so I bought it again on gog, (mostly so i can also track game time) but i realised that both gog und steam share the same save files, is there any way to prevent that?

if you want you can keep slot 1 and 2 for modded and slot 3 and 4 for unmodded

and you can manually switch them out if you want to play more

alternatively you can download a mod named more saves which lets you have more saves

You can only access the second page whole more saves is enabled, so that is a good way of doing it, yeah

Modded runs on the second page, vanilla on the first should keep you safe, but some people have had issues with more saves, including having their saves deleted. I've never personally experienced this and I used more saves for a few months.

Heya! Do someone know of a mod/way to five yourself a lot of geo? I use bonfire mod (exchange geo for betters stats), and a serie of bug leading to a reinstallation of the whole mod installer just reset my progression, and I don't really have the courage to farm again from scratch.
