HELP! I killed mantis lords early (2nd playthrough) and tried entering deepenst. The door was closed (dunno why i didnt expect that) and when i tried getting back to mantis lords everything except the mantis lords unloaded and its now super dark. (only in the mantis lords area underneath the mantis village, nowhere else) I tried restarting the game, but it didnt help. I really want to get MoP without restarting the run :( (copied from #hk-help , i have mantis gods installed, that is probably why it is glitched out)

i turned off mantis gods mod, and it fixed it. Gonna turn it on again to check if it breaks it again or if its just a bug that happens when you enter deepenst prematurely

I got the Mod manager installed, and I was able to get the Randomizer 3 to work, but Hollow Point seems to be out of date, even though it gets updated everytime I launch the mod manager
Is it because there was a patch in Hollow Knight and the dev didn't update his mod ?

Known issue with a few possible fixes, if I remember correctly. First try re-applying your skin when in a small scene. Like the King's Station bench.

Go copy the geo sprites from the normal/vanilla skin into the skin folder that has the "missing geo" problem

Hey, I'm playing through the randomizer right now, and in the readme, they say not to take more than 1 upgrade if you don't have wings/claw, and no more than 3 if you don't have claw
Can someone explain me why ? They talk about required pogos, but I'm not sure which ones are required

To update the modding API on modinstaller 2, you just click the orange box next to it. Also, this looks like an issue i had a week or so ago, I would suggest verifying your hollow knight file integrity, and then reinstalling the game. After that run modinstaller2, update any of the mods, and then try it

My mods have been really weird the past couple of days. when i use anything to do with benchwarp, deploying, warping etc. then whenever i jump im resetted to the last bench i was at. i cant open the modmanager because when the things come up to update (which never go away even if i do update them) one of them (idk which one because i just get an error message) only has the options on the error continue or quit. quit closes it and continue opens a large blank screen with a weird manual (to install manually) at the top left. idk what to do, it happened after re-installing debug mod after uninstalling it for a similar problem which that time was me being stupid. irdk what to do.

You'll probably want to reset your installer, using the info in the pins. If you have problems with the main installer, you can try ModInstaller2 (also in pins), but the main one should work fine.

Hello all, I'm completely new to mods in hollow knight and am using the modinstaller2. Everything seems to install fine (haven't launched the game yet) except for the pale champion. It downloads but stays on the orange check so seems not to install or something. Are there manual downloads for this mod?

As a second question. Are all mods compatible with each other?
I'm mainly asking because I want to use grimm child upgrades and charm overhaul. But also for info ite grimm and uh the more difficult nightmare king (forgot the mods name)
