probably, i haven't started a steel soul or godseeker game so a lot of these probably go there

if I want to have the green circled image replace the unfilled circle that's already in place (so that it would be the nonfilled circle even in the normal game), I'd basically need to delete what's circled in purple and put multiple of the green circled assets in their place, right?

although I guess I should probably use something different for the incomplete soul image

maybe i'll just remove the "fight fight fight" for the broken soul (if what I'm saying is even on the right track)

If you're asking about using the godhome hud in a normal game, like Dwarf said there's a mod that lets you use the steelsoul and godhome huds in a normal game.

Funny thing, it turns out the asset circled in green (and the ones that aren't circled but look similar) isn't used with the normal, steel, or godseeker huds

How to use Scarab in Microsoft Store
🔹 First enter the Xbox app and move your mouse over Hollow Knight on the left bar.
🔹 Click the three points then click "Manage".
🔹 Go to the "Files" tab and select "Browse...".
🔹 Click Hollow Knight then Content, click the path bar and copy it.
🔸Run Scarab as admin and when it asks you for the path paste what copied before.

Alternate Method:
🔹 Click on your profile then "Settings"
🔹 Go to "General" tab and select "CHANGE FOLDER"
🔹 Look for a folder where you want to install the game (Preferably inside a folder in your desktop).
🔸 Copy the path bar, then run Scarab as Administrator and when it asks you for the path, paste what copied before.

Scarab path folder needs to have Hollow Knight_Data folder inside

I thought he was saying that the purple circled stuff was used on the hud loading animation, which makes a lot of sense since they all look similar and close to the final hud. The one I circled in green is the one I'm trying to get to replace the purples. I haven't been able to see it even during the load in animation. Also there aren't many of the green circled assets that look very similar to each other, which also makes me think that it's not part of the same animation.

I set the hud to default, steel, and godseeker, but the green circled asset didn't seem to show up in any of them. Godseeker was probably the closest but it still used a different one. I'll test it out a few more times. Maybe it was in the godseeker animation and I missed it

That is a frame of the godseeker loading animation, its just very early, and very fast.

Succesfully replaced the nonfull orb image, here's the before and after. I also changed the full soul image and zipped the custom charms.

Reinstalling current patch will not reinstall the modding api, so you need to install a mod with scarab to get the api back

hi, I have a problem, although it isnt related to mods in any other way than it being a probablle programming error

I recently switched laptops, and I wanted to replay the game, on steel soul. so I logged into the game, I cleared the previous file, pressed the button to make a new save, and there it was the selection of the modes like normal. but then I got... the stuff you normally start the game doing. I mean the window framing, and the britness adjustment. I then realized I had forgotten to switch the v-sync off, and pressed the button to go back, and I was brought to the video settings menu. after tunring that thing off, I went back to the open slot in the saves, pressed the button to move on and... the game started. no asking for the modes. and when the cutscenes ended(I watched all the way through) the HUD was the regular calssic mode.
all my achivments and other saves are still there, and I havent interacted with mods in any way in either laptop for the past year( which by this point means that no save I currently have was affected by them)

• install Rando Vanilla Tracker
• if you want levers, install Rando Levers
• it needs to be a new Rando file
• disable anything you don't want Randomized
• for any connections you use (including levers), check if there is a setting called "define refs", and enable it if so
• make sure that "sync vanilla" is enabled with ItemSync

I have a black screen occurring in the game. Each room of stag I enter (Not all of them. But If I ride stag too I encounter a black screen) Gets bugged and The game dims with a black screen. After installing, in order to actually use the mod
When the mod is correctly installed, you should see it at the top-left of your main menu, with the other mods you have installed.

If there is also some larger text that says "Load Enemy Randomizer", then press that button to randomize the enemies using the default settings (Note: you will need to wait a few minutes while this loads). If the button is not there, then go into Options > Mods, and Disable the mod, and then re-enable it. You will also need to close the game entirely, and re-open it.

I just saw a interesting map mod in several recent na of speedrunners while I hey where doing room Randos. It showed the interconnection of the rooms and single rooms got highlighted in different colours.

My problem is: I can’t find this mod in scarab (latest version) and also not on GitHub, cause I don’t know it’s Name. The runners called the mod just „map mod“ but there are many out there, and I tried them all, but it seems I hadn’t found the correct one. Any help here?

I ask, cause I want to try the glimmering mod ASAP, but I’m not confident enough to do it without a ingame map

The hash is basically a way for the randomizer to shorten all your settings into those 4 things. You can enter this hash again when creating another rando file with the same mods on to get the same stuff done there’s else

hello, I might have an issue with rando map mod? (or I might be overlooking a setting)
I updated all my randomiser mods today that needed updating and when I turned on rando map mod halfway through, it didn't show me any pins, bench pins included
I tried turning it off and on, restarting the game, turning on spoilers, toggling all settings off and on, but nothing changed so far

How to fix Installer Errors
🔹 Make sure Hollow Knight is CLOSED.
🔹 Make sure that the installer has been Extracted from the .zip and that the new folder isn't in your Downloads folder.
🔹 Right-click the installer file, and select "Run as Administrator".

HKMP (Hollow Knight Multiplayer)

🔹 How it works:

HKMP puts a copy of each player into each other players world. Enemies have separate health and can be in different places; items/abilities must be collected separately; breakable objects must be broken separately.
A player's attack will happen in each player's world, damaging any enemies/players it comes in contact with. A player is only hurt by the enemies in their own world.
