pogoing is not the way to go about it, its very difficult and inconsistent
moving down should be done in between the nail spawning interval to avoid having nails spawn underneath while falling
its mostly just a patience fight, being greedy with hits or overcommitting will result in pointless damage||

• on phase two transition, use all soul (happens after 10 nail arts) on fireballs to chunk off most of his remaining health
• dont try pogoing, ever. its inconsistent at best with his movement
• going for hits while nails are spawning isnt a great idea either for the first few clears
• try not to fall unless between the nail spawning interval, as nails can spawn directly under
• moving around a lot is probably not necessary, just change platforms when hes very close

||his shockwave can be avoided with a full jump. What i normally do to dodge his mace is dash away from him then full jump, dash back, nail hit. Nail arts would also help if you can use them. And a nail based charm build. You can dreamnail him once you get to his first stagger||

• triple swing: walk away, then dash under the third swing (if there is room) or use a wall and go above it (if there isnt)
• downslash: stay just out of range, to bait out the counterswing
• great slash: dash out as soon as the telegraph shows
• dash slash (charging at the edge): stay in the middle while its charging, then just jump over as he goes across
• cyclone: use either a well timed ddark (tight), pogo (not recommended, its not the most consistent), or stay high on a wall
• his timings allow a nail art to be used after every single attack (great slash on triple swing/downslash/dash slash, dash slash on his great slash)
  • if narts arent an option (or are too difficult to perform consistently), 1-2 hits on every attack work fine
• the only healing windows that ive found are:
  • staggers (without quick focus)
  • ending of triple slash, as he's spinning (with quick focus)
• for phase two: walk away from his side of the arena, dash out when he comes close, small jump + great slash on every spin
  • he can bounce anywhere from 2-5 times, keeping count to know when a spin is forced (5) is not a bad idea
