In pv, the extra dash distance leads to less possible hits and with strength, that loses damage.

Stuff like pillars and daggers are also built around base dash distance, and sshadow makes those punishes / dodges more difficult, alongside others

And also just others charms are mega op so -2 notches is eh ||
