||use strength for nail, it basically cancels it out (not entirely, but it makes it barely any different); using heart for shell does the same thing. soul is my least favourite bind, but generally a nail build + good usage shouldnt make it that much of an issue. charm binding just makes the fights longer, not much to say there||

Climb is okay and 3rd phase is cheesable||

||alright we gotta talk about two things, first is recovery, second and more important is spacing. if you get hit you got to learn to disengage and reset, in this clip you got hit and then it all spiralled from there, first 15 seeconds were good (though spacing was rough) which is why, you need to spend more time further from Markoth, I think something you could try (that was advice for me when I got stuck on this fight) try equipping jonis blessing and health charms and just try to stay in the arena with markoth, just as practice, not trying to hurt but just to get more comfy in the arena with him, because you are way WAY tooclose to markoth for this whole fight|| back off, social distancing and such

2. theres a whole wall on each side, so im not sure why you fell
3. panicking and wasting all your ||soul for no real reason. if you want an easy out to 2nd phase, conserve that soul and spam shade soul during that phase. it can get 2 hits pretty easily and melts him. but as for panicking, youve got to try and take it slow. markoth is a boss that tests your patience, thats why a lot of people who try to rush headlong into it have difficulty with it.||
