thought so, ||for the mantis you can explore either lower right greenpath or lower left crossroads, though as a general tip you should always be going into the small holes in the side of rooms in your map as those are places you cant got to that could get you access to new areas or abilities||

told myself i would finish it before silksong came out, then the release date happened to be only 2 weeks away lol. pretty rusty (it’s been like a year or so) but im consistently making it to ||markoth/gpz|| was wondering if anyone who’s beat it has tips. i can usually hitless or only get hit once by ||soul tyrant|| but in cases where that doesn’t go to plan i do want the run to be dead

||ab markoth is a game of patience. first of all just to make sure u should be using narts on markoth since its the safest and most consistent method by far. then u should pretty much always have a nart charged so that u can release it if a safe opportunity arises. and once u get full soul i would suggest just going for a shade soul, shriek knockback can be finnicky sometimes and u dont want that kind of inconsistency that far into a p5ab run. and ddark can be applicable sometimes but shade soul is the most versatile. as for the shield spin attack the safest method is to just get two dash slashes. one at the very start of the shield spin and one near the very end. this way u dont risk going inside the shield spin radius and risk getting hit. ofc u can go for shield spin punishes if u r confident in them but i would not suggest that for phase 2 (where there are two shields)||
||for ab gpz, one of the biggest threats of that fight are the zotelings. what i would suggest is just shrieking at them after they spawn so that u dont have to deal with them for prolonged periods of time. make sure to delay ur shriek a little tho since the zotelings have spawn immunity for a brief moment after they are spawned in. also ur nail damage is low enough that u can get two slashes on the volatile zotelings safely (the third hit kills the zoteling so itll explode in ur face if u r too close, so take caution if u really need that third hit). this not only gives u soul but also pushes nearby volatile zotelings out of the way so u have more space to dodge. and also, i would suggest saving ur ddark for specific openings. i usually like to ddark on gpzs shadow slam attack (where he falls through the floor then falls down from the ceiling), after the flail, and to dodge any potential attacks he will do after spawning volatile zotelings (hitting the nearby volatile zotelings out of the way helps with guaranteeing the soul needed for a ddark).||
