And a stagger is (if the ballon’s aren’t annoying) a heal||

||hk is a metroidvania. Usually in metroidvanias you explore areas, get new abilities by exploring and then look for new places to discover with those new abilities. This also means re-exploring older areas. Usually just looking at your map is enough to see unexplored parts which you can then check out.
The reason I'm explaining this is because it's not only important in this case, but that's how the whole game works. So whenever ur stuck just look at old maps, see what seems unexplored and check it out.
In this case crossroads for example will lead you to a lot of progression. I'd explore around there again. As I said just looking at your map to figure out unexplored exits is helpful||
