||attacks are the same, you can check NKG's health whenever he does the balloon attack, 75% 50% and 25% health respectively||

||you want to great slash him when he gets close. If he's far away you can also use dash slash. Since they take a bit to actually hit after releasing the button you probably need to do it a tiny bit earlier than you'd think. You don't need to worry about his shield since great slash and dash slash both have a big enough range to simply hit through it.
Don't chase markoth around the whole time. It can be good to go for a hit if you see a nice opportunity but generally you don't want to be too aggressive. Mostly wait for him to approach you and then great slash to deal damage. If he moves away or you can keep him at a distance you can stay on the platform, if he gets too close you should move to a different one.
As mentioned by cinnbunzia you want to save your soul in the first phase and then use all of it as shade soul in the second phase. To do that wait for a good opportunity where you're safe (usually on his shield attack) and use all of it for shade soul. Since you want to get as many double hits as possible try only to use shade soul if he isn't right up against a wall or a platform since he won't take double hits in that case.
As charms I'd recommend shaman, nailmaster's glory, twister, catcher, heavy blow, eater.

Since you asked why nailarts: They deal 2.5x damage while strength only does 1.5x. This isn't a crazy amount considering they need to be charged but you have nailmaster's glory which makes this easier. The main reason they are so good for this fight is for their ability to hit through his shield and the knockback. It makes it a lot easier to keep him away from you.

In case you struggle with this strat, know that it is not a cheese strat that will suddenly make it easy. You will still struggle but trust me, this is the best strat.||

||the main thing I'd say is learning to read the map well. Whenever you see a small opening on the side of a room or a wall in a room on your map it means there's some form of transition or unexplored part there. You really need to get good at noticing that and pay close attention to your map to progress well. Other than that just don't give up||

||oh and also: idk how much you have progressed but this is a metroidvania and you'll obviously get more abilities and upgrades the more you play. When you get an upgrade that serves a purpose in combat, it's almost certainly gonna be strong and useful. If you get something new really try to implement it and step out of your comfort zone instead of just your nail||

Wow but in the game plays, ive only seen it this way|| defeat hk hornet hells you and then you get into the dream and defeat radience, the end. Hows it gonna be like uh... You jus have to defeat hk and become the next seal. Also the source of infection still stays if we remove hk and put our vessel in its stead. Right? The infection will still spread that way. And in the other ending you said hornet gets stuck with us i mean my small knight and hk. So she becomes part of the seal... That doesnt end the infection asw. So ... Destroying radience only brings the true ending?||
