There’s also some more ||mask shards|| you can find in ||crossroads||, including one obtained by beating an optional boss there that is recommended to get to only once you have ||mantis claw||. If you’re curious so you can use a guide to get to it the boss’s name is ||brooding mawlek||

Yep. Admittedly at first I thought he was bullshit, but my opinion quickly changed, especially once I started doing ||pantheon of the knight and pantheon of hallownest||. Quickly went from one of my most hated bosses to one of my favs. Hollow knight as a whole just handles ||gank fights|| really well compared to Soulsborne

You can farm money from the ||coliseum of fools||, doing any of the ||trials||, preferably the first one since it’s the easiest. ||pale ore|| you can find in ||ancient basin||, ||deepnest after killing Nosk||, ||crystal peak once reaching the top with the statue with radiance||, you can get one from saving like 30 ||grubs||, one from getting ||700 essence and then talking to the seer||, and there’s a ||pale ore|| obtained from I think completing the first ||coliseum of fools trial||

||for p5 markoth, the first thing is to make sure u know how to fight soul tyrant very well. Ideally u should be entering markoth with full soul from soul tyrant. Then, right at the start, u can go for two or three shade souls and then stick with narts until second phase. At that point, u should really ramp up the spell spam, shade soul is preferable since it’s the safest option but shriek is also an option. If u run out of soul and markoth is still not dead, then I would suggest only going for dash slashes whenever he does the shield spin attack, and only focus on dodging otherwise. U can get two dash slashes on each shield spin attack, it’s completely safe. One dash slash right at the start of the shield spin and one when it’s receding||

you should stack up your soul to max before entering ||thk|| tho, so you can spam ||shriek|| 3 or 4 times

||if u have soul, shade soul is preferable, but if not, ull have to wait for certain openings. like for example, u can go in for quite a few hits on the flame pillar attack since the grimmkin is stationary during this attack, u just have to be careful of the flame pillars obviously. all it really boils down to is waiting for what attck he does and then responding in the correct way, similar to how the grimm fight works||

it usually takes ppl around 45 mins to upwards of multiple hours to beat him for the first time, its completely normal to be making little progress initially. but all of his moves are consistent and learnable, ull figure out the patterns with enough attempts
