||## Markoth Tips

• The fight is all about dodging. Don't get boxed in.
• Pay attention to his position. He will generally move towards one of the four corners or the center.
• If he pushes you to the wall, wait on the wall until he picks a corner, then move to a different corner. Don't try to cross to the other side while he's in the center.
• If markoth is left, move right. If he's right, move left
• Swords that spawn off screen are usually either directly above or below you. Listen for them, and dodge them blindly by moving left or right.
• If you're on the left wall, swords may also spawn off screen to the left
• Move with the rhythm (just after a sword spawns). If you dash out of rhythm, a sword could spawn on top of you.
• For p5, practice Soul Tyrant so that you can enter Markoth with good health and soul.

Phase 1

• Option 1: Use nail arts
  • At the beginning and end of his shield spin, you can land a dash slash
  • You can land a great slash if he's moving towards you
  • line up with him vertically to prepare for a dash slash
• Option 2: Enter the danger zone
  • During the shield spin, wait for two orbits, move in and hit him, then escape as the shield comes back.

Phase 2

• If you saved up soul in phase 1, you can burst him down with shade soul to practically skip phase 2
  • for radiant, use spell twister, soul eater, and shaman stone
  • you may need a couple of double hits. Spam him when he's not up against a platform for that
• Alternatively you can continue the phase 1 nart strategy to store up soul and health

||god tamer|| ... ||killing the beast will cause the tamer to give up almost immediately, ending the fight. in other words, focus the beast. also, the beast has no attacks that go straight up so it is very vulnerable to pogos (keeping mind of what the tamer is doing) - the only beast attack that can go straight up is the roll after bouncing off the wall when it's jumping to your position while you're right next to the wall||
