yes i would absolutely recommend it, there is more than enough ||essence|| throughout the game so u can afford these ||dreamgate || usages, but ||u cant actually set a dreamgate right in front of the arena, ull have to set it in the room before it. still way faster than traversing from the bench though||

||dash slash and great slash deal the same amount of damage, but cyclone slash can surpass them if it gets multiple hits. the tradeoff is that u have reduced control of ur character because u r in the cyclone slash animation, while dash slash and great slash are relatively quick attacks||

||the easiest way to beat the frenzy phase would be to save up soul throughout the initial half of the fight, then use spells to clear the frenzy phase quickly. shade soul is recommended for the frenzy phase since u can get double or even triple hits from one cast if done correctly, which makes the frenzy phase very fast. if u use all ur soul and the frenzy phase still isnt over, the next best option will be narts. charge up a nart while sly is dashing around, then when sly gets close and goes towards u, dash away, turn around, and hit sly with a great slash. after some great slashes ull have enough soul for another cast of shade soul, which u can use the next time around.|| i can try to record a video of these strats if u want

Just do the oob ||deepnest|| infinite geo setup

There is a room in ||deepnest|| where you can go out of bounds without a glitch, and maneuver your way where the spawning enemies are stored, since there they don't have an ai and are not supposed it die yet, they can't hit you and regenerate every frame, so you can get thousands of geo per second, if at least it didn't lag horribly

That's how my pet cactus got a 1 million geo Speedrun in under 40 minutes I believe. Even though you don't need glitches it's still banned in NMG because it's out of bounds
