||nail arts are situational, mainly depending on what you're fighting. since you mentioned the colosseum, great/dash slash can be used for hitting flying enemies in one shot that would otherwise take two normal nail hits; you save the hassle of having to chase the enemy down and being exposed to counterattacks. against bosses, you can use nail arts for enemies that fly, move around quickly, and/or have short windows in which you can hit them, such as the dream warriors. however, you should only be charging a nail art when you have the time to do so (for instance, not when an enemy is already within range to attack you).||
