Best advice I can give for ||NKG|| is ||don't move around that much. He telegraphs all of his moves and always starts them in the same position relative to your character. You'll become better at reacting to them if you limit movement to the minimum necessary to dodge. For practical advice, you have healing opportunities during the bats attack and the spikes.||

i feel like unfortunately it's hard to give tips for ||path of pain|| besides saying to look up other people to see what they're doing right? i suppose just ||remember that you get only one dash and one double jump between pogos||

also in terms of ||charms, sharp shadow|| specifically can be actively harmful for ||platforming in general, since it makes dash length inconsistent between a shade dash and otherwise.|| and other than that specifically it doesn't really matter. maybe ||longnail/mark of pride for more generous timing for pogoing||

i hear talk about ||hiveblood etc|| but with the ||infinite soul totems, that doesn't really do much besides make you wait more||

It’s… a boss of all time

Besides the ||super duper common tips of don’t chase during plats and use shriek/heal only at the end of an attack|| and not just willy nilly i dunno what else to say

Well there are a couple of more "advanced" strat that I use, but those aren’t necessarily better I just like them
||If you can get two hits per jump, it’s better than only getting one hit per jump
In order to get two or more hits you either want to, upslash, wings, upslash, which can be done quite fast as the wings get canceled quickly by the slash
Or you side slash

You can also pogo, which can be useful for the orb attack in particular, what I do is pogo twice, then ddark

Also for plat, if far away, and trying to dodge an orb attack, I like to stay in place to dodge the first like 2-3 orbs, then I move, just cuz I find that staying in place tends to get you overwhelmed near the end of the move
Also also, in general, ddarking a light pillar is preferable than dashing through it
To let you have more options to dodge follow ups||

first, ||all 3 of those charms are bad. i would reccomend going back to places like the mantis village and getting mark of pride, in kingdoms edge you can get the quick slash in kingdoms edge. and you should visit salubra in crossroads to get more notches and more charms||

||Thorns of agony actually are more of a hindrance a lot of the time. You should switch that out with any other 1 notch charm. Also, spells deal great DPS at your level. Use Spell Twister over Long nail and try using spells more. Alternatively, you can put a pin in your map at the fight and explore more areas.||
