Also generally I would recommend not ||dashing through their triple slash and dash, you can for sure, but I would recommend pogoing, as that leads to more damage, and is safer if they do multiple in a row||

For the former there isn’t much to say, ||technically jumping help cuz the spikes are thinner, but you just have to stay calm and pay attention to dodge that one
The later is interesting though, cuz you can and should just be able to always shade cloak through it
I suspect that you dash too soon, which is common cuz the attack first draws the lines that the daggers will take, before the actual daggers come out
So dash later basically ||

This can be done with 5 bosses, False Knight (to Failed Champion), Soul Master (to Soul Tyrant), Broken Vessel (to Lost Kin) and when having saved Bretta and Zote, in Brettas basement you can find a dream nail statue to fight the dream variant of Zote the Mighty (Grey Prince Zote)||

||this fight, compared to every other fight does seem to be incredibly random, its the nature of the boss. there really is no denying that- he can cancel his flail attack as soon as he starts it, move erradically, things like that seperate this fight from the rest. you shouldnt let it discourage you either as this is one of the hardest fights in the game.

generally for this fight, especially if you arent confident in it, you want to keep distance and attack zote once he finishes an attack, as during this time he wont do anything for a short amount of time. i.e after he flails, he will fall and be stationary, same with when he falls from the ceiling and when he summons zotelings. these are the times to attack (you can also heal when he summons zotelings). during the rest of the fight, your priority shouldnt be attacking. instead focus on zote and maintain some distance so u have much more time to react. try to use your soul very often as well, dont save a lot of it as opportunities to heal will be rare, so its best to use it on damage instead.

essentially, for this fight in particular, i think the best way to really learn it is to play it. obviously advice can be given, but due to the nature of the fight its best if you can try to feel it out for yourself, that isnt to discourage you from asking for help, however. also taking breaks is important. it can seem counterintuitive, but breaks are peak, especially for pondering about mistakes ||
