Learning the moves and finding ways to properly dodge/find openings to attack

Ooh I’d love to help with him he’s one of my favorite fights

||Sly is very very tricky cause he doesn’t really have telegraphs to his attacks. Your main openings are in between his attacks. With that you want to stay near him, but still out of range of his attacks, so when he finishes an attack, you can get 1-2 hits in before the next attack||

||when you are far away he does interrupt his combos to run after you, which is another reason I like to stay close. Makes it more consistent||

He most of the time always does ||a full attack string before stopping for a moment. Your attacking window is between his attacks. ||

||Usually you'd want to use nail arts because they deal the most damage in a single hit. You can charge them while he's attacking||

So yeah. ||Don’t want for him to attack to start retreating because he won’t give you any warning||

Especially ||the last phase you want to use great slash||

If you go too far away ||he'll run after you. Try to stay in the middle because it gives you more room to dodge. Staying at corners is risky, especially in second phase||

Also extra tip, when you feel good at the game, and confident, DO NOT, JUST STOP! Confidence in steel soul will lead you to death, more times then not, so just be overly cautious in all situations, and also don't be a pussy and save quit, when you are about to die, take it on the chin, log out and try again tmrow.||

||well there are a lot so I won't list them all. The easier ones are bosses that stagger or have an animation at the start where you can dnail like hornet, hornet 2, hive knight, collector, false knight, failed champion, broken vessel, lost kin ect. Some other ones like gruz mother or oblobbles that don't stagger but move slowly are a bit trickier to hit but still doable after a bit of practicing the timing. I usually wouldn't go for these if you are doing stuff like normal p5||
