Hello, i am pretty new to the game, (110%, on my new playthrough), and i want to do all bosses on ||radiant||, but i realised, while researching ||nailsage sly||, i checked on the wiki, where it says that he has 250 hp in his second stage, and when i googled how much a ||pure nail|| does in base damage, it is 21, and since i am using ||unbreakable strength, that is +50%||, so 21/2=10,5 and then 21+10,5=31,5. I have just summed it down to 31 base damage, since i dunno how it calculates summing up numbers, but according to all this information, i should be able to kill ||second phase ||of ||nailsage ||in 9 hits or so, but i have hit runs, where i hit it like 10-11 times, (i am playing on ||radiant|| if that changes anything). I am very confused about how damage negotiation is calculated in this game, can anyone help?

Funnily enough, ||Sly is one of the best bosses to use Nail Arts against. Specifically Great Slash.

Respect his range. Don't play aggressive. Charge up a Nail Art while staying out of his range until he's done an attack, then get the hit in. Be careful about his Nail Arts especially, his Great Slash's hitbox is cracked.

Remember that different attacks have different cooldowns for him, so watch for which ones will give you sufficient opening.||

||i couldn't give a lot of fighting tips but ik that on his stagger, you can dreamnail him, hit his armor and it'll let you take a ton of soul wich you can heal with. Hitting his shell reset the timer for him to get back up without damaging him so you can stack up soul with that||

That makes it easier to tell what he’s going to do and makes him more predictable. It’s best to learn where he teleports for each attack and the animations for those attacks. Then you learn to dodge each attack..||

Ahhhh the ||god tamer||. Tricky for the first times you fight it. ||Just like any boss with 2 enemies attacking you at once, it’s best to try and get them on the same side and not get sandwiched. It’s pretty easy to do since the beast’s rolling attack always targets your location. I’d also try not to be close to the beast for long because he has a nasty habit of walking right into you. As for his spit it always has 3 set locations so it’s best to find the distance of where you can stand in between. I’d advise against trying to jump over it because sometimes that results in damage. And plus, just in case, you only have to kill the beast and not the red fellow.||

||well when you kill the first one you can get inbetween them when the 2nd phase starts and do an abyss shriek then dash away||

||i usually go on one side then wait for them to jump to me then dash above them then pogo twice then just repeat, also you are able to fully dash through them so you can dodge easily||
