Hey y'all, I've been having the worst time with trying to get my Steam version of HK to use my controllers properly. My Xbox Series controller can only connect via bluetooth to PC (because the usb port is broken) and the game will consistently lose communication around 15 to 20 minutes into game session (right when i try to fight false knight), leading to me just standing there getting hit while the controller tries to reconnect. this repeats quite often after it starts, rendering game unplayable with that controller.

So I borrowed my girlfriend's Gulikit controller and the game fails to recognize the trigger inputs, making ||dashing|| impossible (a required technique when dealing with later game bosses at minimum).

Out of frustration, I tried my Steam Controller (if you aren't familiar, don't worry, it sucks) but that one had no ability to slash and two buttons would pause game, among other issues i didn't investigate further.

So, what can i do to play this game?
