As for the charms question, i use unbreakable strength, shaman stone, quick slash and spell twister, i feel like those are the strongest pure damage wise, but since you struggle, i feel charms like quick focus, unbreakable heart, stalwart shell, grubson, maybe even soul eater could be helpful. But quick focus would be really good to heal faster here. See which one of these charms complement your strengths and weaknesses and choose from them what you think would be good.
