Inventory doesn't always induce lag on 1221
The Collector spawns enemies again with the jar attack
The boomer Grimmkin dupe no longer works

A lot of it is just changes between 1211 and 1214

The cursor is forced to the center of the game window on 1221,
You can no longer dupe the charm notch Grimm gives you (not that you could open the chest anyway)
If your game is above 1080p on 1221 there'll be a random blue pixel

I decided to attempt some speedrun attempts on patch 1.2.2.1, and it was going well, but then when I saved and quit out to return to Ancestral Mound, I lose all abilities to move or use my nail. Restarting the game doesn't help with it either. I am playing on PC.

Yeah, it's set up in the main menu, but everytime I load into a new file I have to pause and just set one keybind, and it fixes the rest of them, but I have to do it everytime.

But that doesn't work when I do the save and quit, that just breaks it completely and it won't fix.

For setup, you need to do downpatching (not required at all. 1221 is faster, but current patch has its own leaderboard, and 1221 runs worse, so if you have bad pc you might consider runnin on current patch instead)

I’d watch a few high level runs, identify what you can and can not do through testing, identify what you can learn and what is out of your reach at the moment. Learn what you can learn, and route around what you can not. As you improve, consider going back to the “out of reach” things and learn them.

Here's what I have to say about 1xx:
-100% is not something you will run, at least for a while
-106% is all % + grimm troupe dlc, with all of 1221's juicy shenanigans
-107% is 106 on latest patch if you prefer latest patch (also hive knight)
-112% is 107 but you do godseeker stuff and defeat pantheon 5 instead of the radiance

They all have differing routes, and you can change those routes pretty much however you want, changing charm combos or doing x thing early to get x item for x fight

Optimally, you overcharm a lot, so you probably want to cut some timesave for half damage

Naturally, 112, with pantheons, needs even more practice than the others

Hello guys. I have just got into the speedrunning and have really been enjoying it. I haven't ever really measured the exact time of my splits, because I was merely doing it for fun. However, I've got more serious. I've downloaded the Livesplits and got it to work. But there is a major issue. For whatever the hell, it only autosplits when using the current patch, not the 1.2.2.1. Does anyonr have an idea what to do with that? I am not absolutely certain, if it belongs here. Hope it doesn't bother.

I've finally found the motivation to get into actually attempting hollow knight speedruns, but GOG isn't showing 1.2.2.1 for downpatching, how can i fix this?
