For your final one, there's a tall vertical hallway to the left of the ||Bellway in Blasted Steps leading to Sands of Karak. You'll find a breakable wall in that hallway, drop down the hole, play your Needolin, and that's that.||

and if you met him there, he moves on next time :)||

As for the build i personally run ||pin badge, longclaw, injector band, magnetite dice, silkspeed anklets, ascendant’s grip, compass, cogflies, and cross stitch or sharpdart on wanderer|| and ||volt filament, pin badge, injector band, magnetite dice, cross stitch, sharp dart, and silkspear on shaman crest||

All of this is assuming you have ||both vesticrests||

I dont know if they’re THE best builds for each of them but they are what i personally run

||yea there is, its architect crest with cogflies, and then i would say voltvessel, curvesickle, tacks, sting shard, cogwheel, really any high damage red tool that u r comfortable with is a decent pick. then for blue tools u can use pollip pouch with smth like druids eyes, memory crystal, reserve bind, fractured mask, honestly it doesnt matter a ton what blue tool u choose here, as long as u r comfortable with it. for yellow tools it doesnt really matter, i would say the only one that i would really recommend to use is magnetite dice.
theres also an option to do plasmium overdose with plasmium phial + architects crest but u will then need to give up pollip pouch cuz u cant overdose with it. but the regen effect of plasmium overdose is very strong so it may be smth to consider||

learn the attack patterns, they're the easiest part and key to winning

there are two main tools that help for this fight: one of them is ||obtained in a secret room in hunter's march, called fractured mask||. the other is ||purchased from an npc in deep docks, called magma bell||. both of these tools will greatly increase your survivability but ||they are both blue tools||, so if you're looking for ||memory lockets|| here are a few locations: ||lower right of hunter's march||, ||top room of the marrow||, ||wish reward in bone bottom||, ||bottom area of wormways||, and my mind is blanking on others lol

as for ||masks and silk||, ||you can only get up to 6 masks in act 1, and silk spools aren't particularly important at this point||.
but the thing that helps the most in difficult bosses, regardless of what upgrades you have, is practice, patience, and persistence. all of the bosses in this game can be learned with enough experience

Okay so make a txt file called steam_appid.txt with the exact contents 1030300, nothing else. Then put that txt file inside the folder of ur downpatched install (on the outermost layer, not within any other folders). Then try launching the game again and see if that works

It’s not that bad, u just need to have the depot and manifest id of the specific patch (and app id but that’s always 1030300 for silksong), then use steamcmd to install the patch with those specifications. Then simply add a steam_appid.txt file (I’m not actually sure why it’s needed but I assume it’s for steam to realize that it’s a separate install), and that’s basically it. Optionally u can add the downpatched version into ur steam games list by clicking “add non steam game to steam” and selecting the downpatched install, then u will be able to find both ur latest patch and downpatched installs on steam.
And to be completely safe u can always back up ur save files which I assume u know how to do.
