You could skip that boss and deal with it later after more upgrades, either by ||using a Simple Key to travel through the Wormways and into Shellwood||, or by ||collecting enough fleas so that they travel to Greymoor, which forces Moorwing to appear during Act 2||

yes they have found the key through the code, its not particularly hidden at all if u know how to decompile the code. as for the encryption / decryption, it is identical for both hk and ss (which is why decrypters for hk saves will also work for ss). im not sure if i can just paste the key here but the code in the github just has it in plaintext if u want the key (its a 32 byte key starting with the letters UK if u want to confirm). and specifically it seems to me like it uses aes256, ecb mode, and pkcs7 padding, if u know what those terms mean.

this is about as much info as i have tho, if u want further details u might need to ask in #modding-discussion or smth (even tho this is not a modding issue at all, some of the ppl there have tons of expertise regarding the codebase of this game since obviously u need to work with the games code in order to mod the game)

||there are two “missable” endings. One becomes a problem if you remove your curse before beating the boss of act 2, and the other if you do everything and move on to act 3 without doing the short ending (similar to getting the Voidheart before getting the basic ending in Hollow Knight)||

||shakra and garmond/zaza can both have friendly duels with you. they wont in act 3. garmond has further circumstances to be locked - if you complete the Choir Cloaks quest before finding where he will duel you, he will no longer go there and thus not duel you. Shakras is locked behind her own respective quest and can be dueled anytime afterwards in Act 2.||

||the quests Garb of the Pilgrims, Volatile Flintbeetles, An icon of Hope, The Terrible Tyrant, Roach Guts, Bone Bottom Supplies, Pilgrim's Rest Supplies along with their materials for the material collection later. this includes the hornet statue from bone bottom, but team cherry is mean and the statue doesnt contribute to anything.||

||i doubt anyone missed this, but you can miss the first ending for defeating Grandmother Silk. More importantly, getting cursed with the Twisted Bud then defeating Grandmother Silk ending can be missed if you were cured or went to act3 and got cursed||

||I know you can miss hunters journal entries, but im not sure which ones. as far as i know no missable journal entries count for 100%ing the journal, but im not entirely sure on it.||

||keep doing any quests you get - you need a lot completed for it (ask if you need the full list of required quests - you should be fine if you just do everyquest you get from the wish boards). the wiki says you also need to move the flea caravan to their final area, do lace 2, and get a house in Bellhart. after all requirements are met, the songclave caretaker will call for you when passing him and have new dialouge.||

I'd say just keep at it lol. If you've beaten their previous iterations you can beat them now. Take it slow, make sure you always have them in your vision when looking for openings to heal because they can and will teleport straight to you if you try and run off screen to heal
