I'm not 100% sure, but PC rust shouldn't have built in aim assist, that's usually something that is done in game software not the peripherals. Any software that gives game assist is definitely illegal but using a controller on its own is fine as it shouldn't have any aim assist

Yeah, I know Rust doesn't have it but I got a software that helps to make the experience with controller better and I always use it on other games and it just feels nicer than PC usually. I think that lwk the reason for my ban but I'm not 100% sure. It feels easy to get kills with Controller than keyboard. I think it's banable but, that would be not nice.

I can explain it to you. It's for assigning your PC keys to a controller. I can put my movement to the sticks and my keys to the other buttons. I can have settings for other games and select it. I got settings for CS2, Rocket league and .... You can just load it in and use it easy. It isn't that smooth either and that's why you got the aim assist. You can Imagine it like fortnite or Pubg recoil. It doesn't help relay much but it makes the aim smooth, but I helps me a lot and gives me good aim. Like really good. Its like a really simple script without much help. If you know how PS4 aim is you know it be. It's not like a cheat when you go in 0.1 sek to the head 😂. Hope you understand.

not sure exactly, but someone suspected of cheating, usually from low hours on rust but higher skill or level 0 steam account. But there is a load of other reasons too

It's better if an admin goes to the player and checks him out. That's more like a legit ban. If you got to good in a short period of time you will be kicked. I honestly say it's depends on the weapon.
