welp, this is the 4th wipe this server had issues, from rollbacks (multiple, 3 days rollback is the record I think), wrong map loaded for an hour, laggs, server crashes, to all sorts of issues. Is every rustoria server like this, or is it only Rustoria US Long? admin response has been decent regarding cheaters (within 24hrs) but other than that, this has not been a great experience. I would get VIP but the last wipes have shown its not worth it.
This is probably better in #feedback-suggestions so it doesn't get buried in here.

It might feel unfair, but our rules are the way they are because even if you did not know, you still had an unfair advantage over other players. As one example, you probably did not die to the cheater and lose your loot like other players did which is unfair. You can still appeal if you wish and explain your situation to the admin who banned you. I am not the admin who banned you, so this decision is not up to me.

Server slots are determined automatically based off of various factors including server performance. I am not an expert on this, but my best guess is that if the server is struggling a little bit, the server slots will be decreased to allow the connected players to have a better experience.
There are multiple factors that affect slots, so it is possible and normal for slots to be lower or higher at different times.

Nothing is artificially created - vanilla Rust servers cannot maintain those numbers for more than a day (realistically, a few hours), generally speaking. The slots are upped considerably beyond what the game itself is designed to support to provide the most action-packed experience possible for wipe day, but this isn't a weekly wipe server, the server is being rapidly filled with entities as players build and expand, which puts strain on the server as the wipe progresses. This is less of a problem for a weekly wipe server, but even the main servers will have their pop cap reduced by 200-250 players the day after wipe.

There's only one server in existence that I can think of that meets the criteria you're describing, very high pop over a long period of time, and that's RustReborn's bedwars server - which is not vanilla, and is not one server, it's a hive of servers running instances for the different modes - they don't have close to the same concerns that a vanilla server has with performance. Any other vanilla server has the exact same issue, it doesn't matter if they're running the server on a Nasa quantum supercomputer, they're not running at 850 for any significant length of time without horrible performance issues

I was banned today for hacking. When It tried to appeal it on your site it says the only ban I have is 10 month old (But i`ve been playing on a server two full wipes and even yesterday). Also it says "Hacking" but I never used cheats at all, I was banned once on your servers for association and that`s it.

Of course not the slightest problem with that. the only reason I text here about it is when i have joined the rustoria group on steam, and just typed in ,,rustoria" in the search tab, it has shown me 30 pages of people with the same profile pictures, same profile, same exact profile bio etc. Just mentioning it to make sure you as Rustoria staff are aware, and to suggest to ban them accounts from the steam group to make sure to minimize the confusion of people using steam, not knowing about the scam. Evidently it is not your responsibility if they do get scammed by such people, and it is not your problem in the slightest to take their bad decissions on your back, although I think it would be beneficial, if those profiles just couldn't have the rustoria server in their joined steam groups, because it would automatically be suspecious if they claimed to be a mod, and weren't even assosiated with the steam group. Hey there, we appreciate your attention to this issue. Sadly it has been ongoing for years, and we're largely powerless to do anything about it. It is not possible to ban individuals from steam groups, you can kick them, but you can only ban them from the forum section, not the group itself, incredibly enough. Steam did recently issue a wave of account bans, but it's realistically about as effective as us trying to kick them from the steam group - they just come straight back. We do all we can in terms of informing those with questions here, and post regular announcements about it.
