Hate to break it you dawg but the admins ain't gonna do shit. The same thing happened to me. Invited a cool neighbor to the team so we stopped killing each other and was banned for a week because i guess he was a cheater. Appeal was rejected instantly. Even with thousands of hours on rust, a 15 yr old steam account with no bans and a long history of no bans on Rustoria. Admins here just don't give a fuck. Can't even run a server that performs well anymore.

We don't enjoy banning people who are on a team with a cheater (unless they are fully aware and are profiting from it)

We look at each appeal and make a determination based on a number of factors.
The best thing I can advise is don't team with people you don't know or can't vette to avoid getting banned for playing with hacker.
