How does my ticket for appeal get closed out by an admin saying they did not see anything out of the ordinary from the so on hacker, we recently invited to our team on our way to counter a raid who we thought it might have been. But my teammates and I's appeals get denied and still can longer play until temporary ban is undone. This needs to be made sense of please.

Okay i just noticed that one was from a report of another player, who I came across during playing I thought might have been cheating. That's my apologies, However I'm still confused as to how, are appeals have been denied, with literally an entire essay written as to what had happened and how we had no idea, as we had only had played with the individuals for maybe a total time of 30 mins and did not know. We have paid for vip passes, took time to write everything that happened. I feel like if we were in the wrong here, we might have just made a new account or used this so called spoofer and or vpn softwares to just unban ourselves and continue playing like every cheater does. However the ban process works in this game and or server needs to highly be reconsidered respectfully. As for some, this ruins the weekend of others who looked forward to playing and even paid to play this weekend, especially for my teammates who never even played with this individual who was so called cheating, and were offline the entire time who some are dealing with worst repercussions then the ones playing, and not able to play any official server at all. @raven mist yes i have received one message for a player i accused of cheating back and a message back from my appeal saying thankyou for all the info, however temp ban will remain.

How do you suggest going about doing minimum checks, before inviting to a team so in the future this wont happen, because honestly if I were the cheater I wouldn't tell anyone. And at this point will not be playing with anyone, that I don't know IRL, and that would suck for those who don't really have any friends or others that play Rust, not including that this game is getting harder for solo game base, who might not want to take the risk at all?

A few months ago I decided to start my own server because I as well could not stand the lengths of players that were cheating in this game and others. With the 800k that were banned last year for cheating, the 89k that were banned before the first quarter of this year was over that were cheating. But little did I know the amount of work it would take to run this said server and the confusion, and that it would take a lot of time, and I did not have it, due to my occupation.

My goal was to open a new world, where players would know that they're being taken care of, and that the server would constantly be getting cleansed of these toxic, inconsiderate cheaters that don't care about anybody but the satisfaction of their own unfair gameplay. Who are most definitely still playing the game still even after the fact that they were banned, due to the tools they have at their hand. But those who are victim to a situation are facing worst punishment because they do not have these tools. During my time of trying to run my server and by no means am I telling you how to run yours just a possible suggestion, i know what tools admins and owners have to be able to investigate thoroughly for banning the appropriate players. I feel that it might need to be reconsidered or i would love to watch the perspective of these individuals being banned. Because i believe it is unfair for the players that may unknowingly be getting banned for association, when these cheaters have the tools to continue player and probably could care any less for those individuals. Their is many factors that can be considered such as instead of being banned, if caught due to association whether they knew or not, type in their ids and delete everything that they have received, and permanently ban the said cheater. That way they can continue playing, they loose any said profits, and have to start over and you don't loose money for refund tickets, and or time on reading said tickets or players from your community. I will no longer take any more of your time, this is my teams first ban from my knowledge, and just trying to help them and others that deal with the same , all further talk from me will have to be over a call to really understand your perspectives on these situations. i think it might have been missed but my last question before i head out, you said to do a minimum investigation on someone before inviting them to their team, so you have a better chance of not getting association banned, how would you go about that, because meeting new people and friends is what makes gaming gaming, hell ive been engaged to someone off of blackops playing on xbox years ago, so this type of ban ruins meeting new people and friendship. But id also rather not get banned for alonger amount of time nor permanelty banned for just not knowing. Because if we were able to play with guy who was cheating a bit longer to the point i started believing he was cheating myself i would have kicked him from the team, and reported him myself. Your ban will be lifted in 2 days, it doesn't seem like you've submitted an appeal, which you can do here: https://rustoria.co/support/appeal , but looking at the ban, I would think it's unlikely your ban will be lifted early.

Not sure what's giving you an impression that competing servers have anything to do with anything in here - players are banned because they break our rules, not because we're sending them to competitors

hello rustoria admins, my name is nike and i have 10k hours in rust, ive played proably around 20-30% of my hours on rustoria servers, im currently banned on all rustoria servers since 2022. the reason of my ban is i let a old friend of mine that had been gamebanned on his main account play a wipe on my account, i fully trusted him at the time and neither of us knew that by him playing on my account it would be linking my main account ive been using since 2018 to his then main account he hacked on, the account linked to mine is not owned by me. i appealed around a year ago but was denied, i was told that if my account is linked to a gameban and the gameban is over 180 days old that i should be good for a unban. any respone would be appreciated thanks.

You don't need the machine IP to run WinMTR / tracert. It's unlikely that you'll be able to do anything with that information either way. I'd recommend you open a ticket in #network-support-old and let our network admin run some troubleshooting with you, which may well include running a traceroute, which you just need command prompt for, not a ping tool 🙂

  • Queue skip not working
  • Never received your kits in-game
  • VIP transfer (If you bought for the wrong server)
  • Wishing a refund according to TOS (Refer to 6. Returns and Refunds https://rustoria.co/terms)

What we do not offer:

  • Refunds not according to TOS (Refer to 6. Returns and Refunds https://rustoria.co/terms)
  • VIP transfer (Unless bought for the wrong server)
    Note: We used to transfer VIP within the first 7 days of buying but this has since been changed.

First double check you are connecting to the correct server. If you are, then:
