Either John wick and fear a long time ago told me it was okay to leave team, be solo and team up with your original team as long as everybody starts from 0 to avoid the cycle ban. Since we would all start from 0, and since it’s a 5x mod, usually if we’re not offlined we stick around for the rest of wipe but this wipe we quit, got offlined. Played with another friend, then rejoined my original duo. But I made sure that me and my duo not have any loot. And I was in the understanding that this was okay

If you join a team, and subsequently leave - do not return to that same team again during that wipe, as I can see you've done here. The explanation you're describing with "starting from 0" is a very subjective topic, as those circumstances are not typically apparent until an appeal is heard, the default interpretation for the cycling rule is as it's written in the rules. What the admins decide to show leniency for judging by severity, would be discussed upon appeal, not prior to the rule-breaking, otherwise such exceptions would be stated in the rules themselves. Hope that clears it up a bit!

Yeah I'm aware of your hours there 😄 I should clarify, it's not necessarily subjective, a ban can be upheld on the basis of the rule's wording alone, but an admin could view it differently on appeal, as with any other ban, admins will read and review an appeal, and take the circumstances into account, which may or may not change the outcome. The rule itself is concrete as far as leaving a team, and rejoining that same team within the same wipe, is against the rules - the fact you haven't been "caught" doing it before isn't the result of measures you've taken to minimise the impact of the cycling I'm afraid

And the exact wording of the rule is the reason for the ban, leaving a team and rejoining the same team within the course of a wipe

DLC packs will not show up in your inventory, but instead under Rust -> Properties -> DLC. Once you reconnect to a server you'll be able to access the content(s) of the DLC (ex: changing the swimsuit of your model by clicking the shirt icon when you hit tab or crafting a swimming pool under the crafting menu etc.)
