If there was someone where I live hacking why doesn't it say "playing with hacker" on my ban? It only says "hacking" which isn't the case. Hi! I was banned for hacking but I have never hacked in my life. I do play on a shared connection and sometimes have quite a few people coming in and out of where I live, who also game. Hey, as much as horse griefing sucks, it's been in the game since horses were released, and it's not against our rules - we don't moderate griefing generally speaking (unless there's some sort of crazy new glitch involved), anymore than we would moderate someone griefing your base with external walls. For better or worse, it's part of the game. Would strongly recommend placing bags around safe zones so you can just F1 kill and run back to your body in cases like this.

As for the hacking situation - Facepunch as you may or may not have read, have publicly acknowledged the increase in cheaters this year, especially during the summer - but your assumption that we aren't proactive with it, or engaged with it is extremely far from reality - I'm immensely proud of what our admin team achieves on a daily basis in this area, and although no system will ever be perfect, we take it extremely seriously, and an equally serious amount of work goes into keeping the servers as clean as possible and removing cheaters are quickly as possible. Hope you have a great weekend though, wherever you end up playing 🙂
