I actually took a long time making that guy. Yes there's preset options for the face but I enjoy doing the more face sculpting side of it where you have to place the eye shape for 0 to 100.

While I do agree with your sentiment here, it’s a walking contradiction towards the view of artistic interpretation, you say “it’s choosing premade things to put on a made premade thing” but by that logic then that’s drawing, digital art painting etc. These are all premade tools which we’ve been provided with to create that art. But again by your logic or this sentence alone it disregards all basis of how to make art and simply considers it less than creative.

Don’t get me wrong, I also don’t believe what they made is consider art in the traditional sense, but by how art works yes it’s considered art. Even by the definition of art, “the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form” and since this does have a creative skill to create something from imagination it does fall under the guides of artistic creativity. In short, even if we ourselves don’t credit this as actual art by the definition of art and basic non artistic interpretations it is art.
