for someone who started only a few days ago, your shading technique and tone differences in that shading is on par with an intermediate artist. You also made sure to draw in the cranium which every artist seems to miss, especially newer artists. And sometimes even people with years of experience. I am impressed by your art for someone who's only been drawing for a few days.

its good to do anything, so like gesture and contour- try cross contour on an apple to understand the planes! as my professor said "people think you display depth by shading alone, instead understand the shapes and form"

Shapes are very powerful when you use them right

They give a lot of information about depth

That's why it's hard to draw fingers if you don't know the structure

Pull the perspective trick on him by darkening the line weight where shadows fall or get closer to the viewer

Making thinker lines where shadows would be makes things look like they are in shadow even with no shading
