I DON TWANNA - tyler does not want to return to old bad habits and experience another relapse. this would mean that blurryface would become stronger as an embodiment of his insecurities and fears, influence his creativity in a darker direction, and deteriorate his mental health. tyler seems to be leading the story to a finale without a finale, i.e. a life-long struggle, a search for coping and control mechanisms that suit you.

all signs and hints point to the fact that blurryface did overcome tyler again, but only over a short distance. you know that frightening moment when you climb a height and accidentally stumble. but you wouldnt climb a height without a safety net, right? the safety net in this case is the people around tyler, his family, josh, crew and us — clikkies. blurryface gets a lot of its strength from being alone. when you have to deal with it alone. with people around you, it's easier to stand up to it to the point where it is as invisible as your own nose.

clancys last letter and his behavior shows a «i ll do it all by myself« motive. this is what led to his failure and captivity by nico. i believe tyler set an example for us of how not to do this. dont try to confront it alone.
