I just started learning how to use a daw to produce some music yesterday, and honestly if you have a solid understanding of music theory, it doesn't seem all that scary (just gotta learn to work the program and collect some experience along the way to improve my music)
But maybe I'm naive and a little overconfident (I don't think I'll be good right off the bat, I just now think it's less overwhelming than I feared it would be)
