One thing to keep in mind, is that to the vast majority of the galactic citizenship, the Empire is a force of good/order… the trilogies deals with the “upper end”, not the lay citizenship

The true downfall of the Empire isn’t anything to do with good or evil or whatever, it’s the lack of good HR… you think with enough guards and manned armaments, that a little exhaust port can’t be effectively defended? Or that some pesky rebels could’ve snuck in using a near derelict ship?

When Filoni's movie comes up, i hope people wont balk at crossovers, because it might literally be "Star Wars Crossover, the movie." Anyway, its all the same universe during the same timeline, so i find the idea of the shows being connected quite coherent, not to mention exciting.
