Doing that on the internet instantly makes you susceptible to scrutiny
And due to the nature of your faith and your lack of understanding about how to argue
Also you are assuming that Original sin exists
You are not able to defend it against scrutiny
Corollary it doesn't really make sense to even start that
then you could look Him up, but even then ppl in some random tribes without internet can be saved and God can reach them
how do I not fail maths?
ye thats a big thing
I understand you feel strongly about your faith but unfortunately you are just not the person who can defend it well
idk how to reach the unbeliever
So the only way to win is to not try
Why should I abandon my culture for a random God
I guess that's why missionaries' work is hard
anyone?
because He rose from the dead and told us and there were multiple witnesses and prophecies about Him and other things like psalm 22 and Isaiah 53
ye
believe in math
u gotta do a bunch of problems
That's gibberish to anyone who doesn't know Christian mythology
So yeah I'm gonna pull the plug on that conversation. I don't really think that right now we're in a position to do it well
So caleb I'm gonna say keep it to the math, maybe only talk religion with other believers going forward
im just tryna spread the Gospel
thats my main point
Yeah the problem is spreading it badly actually turns people away
Because your defense of Christianity frankly makes no sense
from what exactly
the second death (hell)
And then it makes it seem like oh every time a Christian tries to talk about their religion they make no sense? Guess they must be wrong
I don't need random strangers on discord to tell me what to believe
Last thing that's gonna convince me of anything
then God will do it
And that's a message you don't wanna communicate
believe in catgirls

yall have a nice day
teach me maths
the original sin is (e^ix - e^-ix)/2i
so the original cos is (e^ix + e^-ix)/2
No that's the co sin

I don't see how that could be related to uwu

it’s the green thing here
yeah, I've seen them
best character not gonna lie
a lot of it in fact…
there's no end to it?
there are endings but i just do low equipment challenges at this point
meow

I need to get back into Hollow knight 😔😔
Thats not a head pat
Thats more like a head dribble
head smack
haha get good

I just hope I won't need graduate+ to look at the channels categorised under advanced mathematics
mods said ug+
and the roles aren't about your position in a university but roughly where your math level is, so you should be good
u dont need any roles to do this
Oh nice
oh yeah to just look you never needed roles for that
Yeah I know this
Oh yeah I forgot
Been too long since I didn't have the advanced role. Self-assigned it last time to talk about some stuff
Gödel’s famous incompleteness theorem showed us that there is a statement in basic arithmetic that is true but can never be proven with basic arithmetic. But that is just the beginning of the story. There are more true but unprovable, or even able to be expressed, statements than we can possibly imagine, argues Noson S. Yanofsky.

Hello
would you recommend this playlist?
For learning math.....
oh
Because practice is important
the "why" wasn't for you 😓
i was a joker
oh
This is also not all of math as the playlist title seems to suggest
well I have some glimpse on Algebra (pre + 1), Trigonometry (very basics)
and whenever I try to solve problems on these topics, I found myself lost sometime
so I wanted to start off
Strong foundations are important
yeah, I think I'm lacking of this thing ^
so where from you'd suggest me to learn those?
Have you tried khan academy before
so I decided to look up in these channels and websites:
https://www.youtube.com/@ProfessorDaveExplains
https://www.youtube.com/@TheOrganicChemistryTutor
https://www.khanacademy.org
yeah
Did it work for you
I try it actually, it’s very a good website. But I think we have to discuss about things we learn to have a good understanding ykwim
well, I was taking tests from there
Oh well it also has practice problems
That’s good
You only practice on this website or you complete with another exercices to have more ?
Yes they have calculus problems
Bad translation, I edit just now
Oh I see
there's what they have
I think their practice problems are pretty comprehensive
so, these course are enough for now?
You should also check high school geometry and trigonometry I think
No, there are no such people on a public math discord
Haha I am joking we are like, 90% that by volume
perfect
I really want to get into math but it's hard with mental illness to self study despite my love for it. I tried learning a bit here before and I learned some fundamentals and that was cool
I'm excited to enroll in college even though I feel like I've delayed it for too long (I'll be 23 when I start) and I want to minor in math.
For me it is most helpful to discuss with people it
Yeah I've always found that immersing yourself in a subject's culture integrates it really well into your mind, such that it comes easier than just studying it as a skill.
Math culture
I mean Math culture is fine compared to other cultures
Ummm
bruh
It's better than CS culture at least
Haha that's true
I mean if culture refers to history of math academia ig it's kinda
Tbh the old guard of math culture is sifting out and I've found that young people are redefining it somewhat
It's getting better I think
But still
Not the best
see, computer engineering is what I want my major to be.
🫂
I'm sorry for your loss
LMAO
It's fun but be prepared for people who aren't very nice to autistic queer nerds
i hate cs man smh
So we are ratting out on Ange now?
but everyone in my class digs it
???
I kind of expect that because I had a friend that did electrical engineering and I would do his homework and he was an ass lol. I realized that too late
It's called humor by taking things literally and out of context
I love cybersecurity and engineering, but computer science doesn't sound as endearing to me.
Relatable
Literally who here am I mean to
No, It's just a thing intentionally taken out-of-context
Anyways so as we were saying
Old professors = likely to be problematic, etc...
Young people = generally supportive, many are autistic/queer themselves
I think... let me see
I snuck into one of his engineering classes and the professor was an old dude that kind of sucked as a professor but I found him really funny in an ironic way.
Wdym CS culture is pure and accepting and helpful and nice and amazing
Cue the cheating
At my undergrad CS (and bio) majors would intentionally sabotage each other
Yeah like, young people in math are so overwhelmingly queer it's stunning
I am a CSer and I am an amazing human being
Wtf?
ok
Please elaborate...
Actually all of the undergrads that I've talked to from my uni seem very helpful and nice
In the past, you needed at 3.3+ gpa to declare CS
compared to you
oh
Oh damn
You've been quite lucky, I think. I've met some really uh... difficult people in CS/math. I've met some lovely ones as well but we roll
They have since changed how major declaration works for CS
What happens when you can't declare a major
There used to be a minimum grade to get into CS, but they significantly reduced it the year after I got in
I've met people like that too (whenever I look in a mirror)
Ok that makes sense
I assume you're referring to the lovely people
no
There are 3 people inside Slurp
Your mom, your dad, and Timo's mom
love that cat

Hi
It's not a generalized rule
I have seen quite the opposite
Age doesn't matter here but rather the personality of the person
Nice!!!
When doing constraints on a problem you often see stuff like:
1 ≤ t ≤ 100
0 ≤ x ≤ 10
How do you indicate that x and t will only be whole numbers?
You write $t, x\in\Z$
守沢千秋
Oo another Chiaki 😅

What is Z?
Integers
Ok thanks
Even if it’s just a character I’m happy to see another male Chiaki 😅
Why…
😅 it’s cool if the answer is no. Just asking for permission instead of just being bothersome
I mean dms are ok if there is a purpose
does anything have a purpose to begin with
i am dming you about your cars extended warranty
I was just being friendly. I was mostly just excited to see my name

Ain't no way
is arxiv the crank one or not
Is 4 color theorem the computer one?
DANG
Not
the authors seems like good people
yes
yeah 4 color was run at i think... uiuc?
3 color is the NP one then right?
arxiv has both crank and not crank, it's not peer reviewed but many many many good papers get posted there before it goes out to a journal
3 color is np complete
yup
ic ic
4 color is also NP-complete in general (in fact k color is NP complete in general) but the 4 color theorem is about the planar case
Yeah right
and saying that every planar graph is 4 colorable
Hmm and only 7 pages?
I haven't read through it yet
I stopped at like the first sentence lol
although I doubt if there are issues I'll find them
^
I'm still in big
mode
haha
Analysis wins again
another option is to introduce constraint sin(pi * x) = 0
It would be cool if this actually turns out to be fully correct
It's short so probably people much smarter than me have either verified it or found mistakes
Any tips for applying to jobs while doing the graduate school wait?
I have only studied pure math but have programming exp nothing public just personal projects
spam technique is a general tip i think
spam technique?
apply to many
and this is fine, can still go on cv
i guess I want to craft a better CV
also if I dont get into grad school i would think i would like a job in something finance related like options trading but I would not know
i have one last semester at school is there any thing you think I could do that could prep me for this potentially?
options, cool
i dont know anything about it lol
i would comment that if u meant pure as opposed to applied
then u have some learning to do
ideally before u apply
Impressive if u understand black scholes stuff and where the derivation comes from
and more, say.
Quant finance requires some heavy interview prep
yes
So specifically, stochastic calc, probability, pdes probably
I am aware of this and if I dont get into grad school I would dedicate my time to this
for courses u could take that are related
grad at quant research?
Grad students look at quant research
i recently took a graduate probability course lol
Implicit distributive law lol
But yeah I think stochastic calc, first off in any event I get the vibe that as time goes on shit like Black-Scholes becomes less useful
In favor of e.g. ML
oh cool
im planning to self learn some stats this break also
i want to learn about linear models
But also if you're an undergrad applying to quant trading jobs my impression is that you're more applying trade strategies than developing them (that's quant research)
So really what's most useful is being able to do probability/calc/linear algebra questions quickly
how tf do i apply for these jobs
As well as some basic data science
what could i say that makes sense markting wise
can u name me some examples of strategies; curious wym exactly
I mean the strategies I'd wager are mostly proprietary (even if I knew I prob couldn't tell you)
But like pricing model is what I mean
We'll offer the stock at price X and buy it at price Y
apart from b-s
And you determine what X and Y are based on whatever data and quantitative models you have
when u said trade strategies i didn't think u meant pricing
I think that's what it means, there could be more to it
(as in delta neutral, stuff like that, but that doesnt exactly require that much math to comprehend)
I'm also really pure math at the moment, I only know anything about finance because it's my most likely non-academic choice
ah i thought u already were working as quant
r u a postdoc or smth?
So I've been passively looking at it in hopes of getting an internship there
ic ic.
GK Dey: grad student
lol nice @
tradfi or crypto?
or dont care
Don't particularly care, crypto feels more volatile which probably means there's more room to do well but also to get rekt
ive gave it some thought and i really do i want to go to grad school, but id feel foolish if I dont get in and have to work a job that has nothing to do with my degree
exactly my thoughts
its also immature
so like theres more room for innovation perhaps?
idk
While the more standard shenanigans feel safer/established
Probably what I'll do is apply to the usual companies
And then when I'm there I can learn from them and decide if I wanna zoom in on bonds vs options vs crypto vs etc
well also - you may not necessarily care that much about getting rekt
apart from losing the job

That's a big "apart"
how do you grad students feel about grad school so far
i dont think I will regret it but i am curious the perspective
i think i will enjoy a lot of it
but not the poverty
ig its also something u dont wanna put on your cv. i used to be quant at this company thats no longer around
The money depends on where you are (cost of living) and certain background circumstances, such as whether you have student loans, if you're raising a family it's very not fun, etc
But if you're single and have no loans then honestly it's fine
yeah im a man without loans or a babe
country dependent, uk at least, i dont think loans or no loans actually matters?

does it not work the same elsewhere
in UK, its basically 9% additional income tax that gets wiped after 30 yrs
not truly a loan
the point being, in most cases u arent paying back in full (taking into account interest)
if u pay back in full already, ofc u stop paying
if you make 100k usd what is income tax in Uk
no tax
ah yh income tax is shit in uk lmao
since its not in british pounds
0-12k free
12-50k 20%
50k-100k 40%
100k+ 50%
ye i mean gdb or whatever its called
i think its something like this
the equivalent*
Taxes are rough there dam
Lol
that place fucking sucks xd
But yeah here student loans build interest
100% tax
it sucks less if u have kids
o
Not 100%, it's that half the dollars you make after 100k are taxed at 50%
i was making dumb joke my bad
100% tax is not serious
wow the highest in american is 37% after 535k
535k wow
Does UK have any "Local income tax"?
i hope to be taxed 37%
dont think so
afaik, theres just one income tax we need to pay
Like in the US, each state has their own income tax (sometimes none)
but its a different system where the money before is at 10,12,22,24,32
Gotcha, so depending on where you live the American taxes can catch up to the UK taxes
ofc but usually doctors and people who work at newer firms
also lawyers
ok i should focus on making backup plan for becoming a quant researcher potentially
damn didnt know
Don't rely on it yeah GK Dey, it's mad competitive
I'd say also look at tech but uhhhhh
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Hahaha
i mean my previous dream was a pipedream in reality
yes but its usually only if you make the big bucks in california and such. regular ppl dont notice it
Yeah true mango, my impression is that on average Americans have more disposable income than a lot of Europe
oh ok at a company, i think thats better but idk
but grad apps just submitted and im feeling low luck so i gotta think elsewhere for now
Especially if you have good health insurance and live in a state which has good public universities
ive heard company mathematician is stupidly competitive cuz only top tier companies have those positions
Correct
bruh this is reasonable
with all the social programs in UK i couldnt be mad as a citizen
when did u get ur job and what is it exactly?
I work at rysk.finance as a junior quant
thing is with me, my friend introduced me, so my application process was far simpler
I've been trying to get congruences from Number Theory and every time I think I get them, something new appears...
all the generalizations thereof, and there's books on the subject. the details may be proprietary (but you don't really make money on back of a pricing model anyway, though depends on the product)
yes
learnt a lot
right out of undergrad too?
yes
so before i applied i had no financial knowledge whatsoever
im probably lucky in this regard
I think this is really common in quant finance
the mindset seems to be that it's easier to teach someone the finance than teach someone the math / CS
so you find the people who know math and CS and then they can learn the finance on the fly
it depends on what you count as quant finance, but yes there are many openings that emphasize quantitative skills over financial knowledge for entry level candidates. obviously nowadays there's many degrees targeting the field (e.g. MFE), so some finance (or, well, at least financial math) is taught as part of those courses
When you have 3 currencies and 3 exchanges like A-B, B-C, A-C
Is there some sort of condition their 3 volatillies have to satisfy?
I'm guessing something like triangle ineq. And i feel like area of the triangle would be a measure of correlation or something . . .

Who here as setup a personal site?
Specifically anyone here have opinions about Hugo vs Jekyll vs Gatsby for a math / CS blog?
So I need good LaTeX support
I have a personal site but don’t have any math writing on it
I may investigate this as well
I have a GitHub pages site with Jekyll
yes, exactly that, but it gets a bit more involved with a smile
Ok update: Am trying stuff with Hugo
for now the plan tonight is to revamp my current personal page
and then tomorrow I will try to figure out LaTeX stuff
so that I may pass on the wisdom later
I wanna do a math blog
soooo need good LaTeX support lmfao
i havent rly looked into it too much but i kinda like mathjax for math rendering in browsers
https://www.mathjax.org/
well im just speaking from how i saw it used on that abstract algebra website
like its pretty cool how this window shows up and gives you some nice options (http://abstract.ups.edu/aata/sets-exercises.html)
lol okay
Did anyone here find it awkward when you first got an ipad and the digital pen to write neat?
Nobody can make better predictions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TB79fG8WyQ
i just use paper lmaooooo
Makes the screen quality worse so if you use it to consume content
do you find the apple pencil tip degrading due to any friction or not really
man i wore away a pen tip on a matte film in like 3 days
i liked the feel of matte but had to revert back to glass
i have replacement tips but i still wouldnt want to have to replace a tip every week or so
apple pencil tips from apple are 20 bucks for 4 of them
i am going to stick to glass for now
some screen protectors are better than others about this
but yeah unfortunately you have to replace the tips somewhat often if you have a matte screen protector
What I would do is tell a specific story that demonstrates your love of math. Or maybe how you told a math joke to your math buddies. Yes, everybody will probably say something along the lines that they think of math as a hobby. But if you tell o story about how you saved the day using linear algebra, then you can communicate the same idea in a more interesting and personal way.
Saved the day using linear algebra
I hate screen protectors for my iPad
they always feel weird
the tips are replaceable yea
What emoji would you use in association for definitions?

how is that levitate
dumbass discord
its gotta be some kung fu master with crossed legs or summin
levitation was invented before kung fu
Levitation was invented by Nicholas Cage in 1822 to Help Abraham Lincoln with the war against the vampires
It was soon stolen by the enemy and led to one of the bloodiest conflicts that The Organization (TM) has had to cover up

it's #applied-math renamed
Is it normal to be 113 pages into a math book but have a latex pdf that's 101 pages long lol
may be tinier text
cuz computer
Oh but the latex pdf I'm referring to is my own lmao. Which contains my compilation of theorems from the book (just the statements themselves), self-proofs for some of them, some self-exercises, and exercises from the author
Is this normal?
Sure
you're adding self-proofs and self-exercises
Yeah but I don't prove all the theorems
I have like 6 or 7 self-exercises right now
wow that is a lot of stuff
I mean
It doesn't sound like a cause for concern ngl
sometimes I can go through 10 sheets of (A4) paper (double-sided) on a single theorem
Ah yeah I was just curious whether this is normal
Soon enough, I probably will experience that
that's a real anal moment
ye
Ah nice
Are you male?
yup
Iirc you told me you got exempted right
yup
Nice
oh your page lengths could be due to your spacing
and your very liberal use of $$ instead of $
Ah yeah that's true
and also things like this
so yeah
the book is shorter because it leaves the full details as exercises for the reader
Oh yeah true
uh no

I thought you are in some mathematics telegram chat
interesting that you decided to start with set theory btw?
Or instagram, twitter, facebook, or tiktok lmao
Yeah I got interested in learning about cardinals and ordinals, as well as axiomatic foundations so I decided to read Enderton. But, after completing Enderton I probably wouldn't be returning to foundations for some time
A tiny tiny bit of Friedberg
I found friedberg incredibly terse
which I guess is the point
it feels to me like more of a reference book
Till linear independence and dependence, but Enderton's still more interesting right now for me tbh
construction of R in chapter 5 💀
Hm I have heard people say its a gentle intro
idk maybe I just found LA boring
Tbh I think this chapter has been quite interesting
Yeah for me right now, LA doesn't seem that interesting. But I think it'll probably get more so later on
pma had it in chapter 1 in a prev edition
Ah I see
but he moved it lol
Anyways, gotta go first, bye.

nice chat
Yeah
btw (arbitrary qn) do u usually study math with friends? I sometimes find it distracting
Well, my friends don't really self-study math texts for fun lol
The friend I have who's the most interested in math is concurrently doing some IT course with next year's math content
same
Though sometimes he does take a look at uni math. For instance, before a Chinese exam he brought a real analysis book from his house (was one of his relative's previously i think) to take a look.

this is 10x the usual qual in #discussion

Yeah that reminds me of why i muted discussy
it's interesting why that's the case
in another server I'm in with multiple general channels

no

Hi darq
Sup grass
if you draw all the tangent lines of a function (i.e. the tangent line of a function at every point on its domain), does that have any interesting results? I know portions of the graph would look shaded in but does anything cool arise from this?
Maybe related? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Envelope_(mathematics)
In geometry, an envelope of a planar family of curves is a curve that is tangent to each member of the family at some point, and these points of tangency together form the whole envelope. Classically, a point on the envelope can be thought of as the intersection of two "infinitesimally adjacent" curves, meaning the limit of intersections of near...
so, it's cool enough to have a name
although, it's kinda the opposite of what you described

Hi everyone!
I've got a weird question I guess, and I'm not sure which field/s it falls under. Like a typical noob it relates to the Collatz conjecture however I'm not trying to prove disprove the conjecture. I'm using my interest in the conjecture to drive my learnimg of more concepts and to test my ability to code stuff.
I'm not specifically asking for help with the process, moreso guidance towards the areas of math that may be useful for me to explore with my current train of thought.
I'm looking at how closely to looping specific parity sequences are.
To do this, I set up 2 matrices, find the dot product then divide by another number - which is always of the form 2^x - 3^y.
There are specific rules on how to set up the matrices, and the divisor.
If the dot product mod the other number is 0, then that parity sequence represents a looping hailstone sequence.
I'd like to find ways to determine the specific properties of the dot product number and the divisor.
The easy one is that neither are divisible by 2 or 3.
Eg, for the parity sequence 10 which represents the 1, 4, 2, 1 loop the setup is
[3^0, 0] ° [2^0, 2^1] / (2^2 - 3^1)
For 2 iterations of that loop [1010] the setup is
[3^1, 0, 3^0, 0] ° [2^0, 2^1, 2^2, 2^3] / (2^4- 3^2)
The simplified rules for generating the matrices and divisors is as follows:
y: any positive int
x: such that 2^(x-1) < 3^y < 2^x
Parity sequence: contains x digits with exactly y digits set to 1
A: duplicates the parity sequence, but uses 3^(the number of 1s remaining to the right of this position) for its values where the parity sequence has a 1, else its a zero
B: uses increasing powers of 2 starting at 2^0
The form is A°B / (2^x - 3^y) = n
n will always loop when following the operations defined by the parity sequence where
1: (3n+1)/2
0: n/2
The caveat is that it's almost always a non-integer value.
.
I hope this explains my train of thought.
Which areas of math could be worth exploring in order to satiate my curiosity with this train of thought?
practice
if you're looking for a serious answer
Additional answer, live life

Also if you want to get good at math don't waste your time on Collatz.

oh last one, your name is weeb , so i might know where your problem is…
Actually true
I was shitty at maths last school year but since this year I've got top 3 highest on each of my tests and have went up from a predicted 4 to 5 for higher tier GCSE maths
All that changed was me listening to everything and working hard outside class
Doing the extra homework and revision no one else did
Put in the work that's really all you need to improve in maths
Don't get it? Try again. Still don't get it? Again. Still? Again.
It's a shift in your mental approach more than your aptitude to maths
Trust me if you want to do well, you will.
1: stop freaking out. You will be fine. This is not the end of the world
2: Math builds on itself more so than other subjects in school. Thus if you struggled in earlier subjects in math then you need to fix your foundation. You will not be able to build a house without a solid foundation.
3: Treat the HW like it's done for accuracy even if it's only done for completion. Your goal is not a 100%, your goal is understanding. This is harder and requires more effort especially up front but it gets easier the more you do it. If you get confused in class, make the time and effort to ask for clarification. Write down examples in your notes and annotate why you do certain things in the examples.
Stop being a pussy, grab your balls grit your teeth and work
To the other people in the chat, you all just said what I said but said it in a much less productive way 💀
If you're able to talk on discord you can go on khan academy and factorise some quadratics goddamnit now get to work mf time stands still for no man woman child or fucking dog @tawdry frost
life really is just an input output game yk
fr, ive been first in my grade in math from grade 8 till 10 with a 99% average each year, all mistakes were either a forgotten reason in test 2 or a simbol mistake
but maths is always the same thing but different number from gr 8 till 10, im grade 11 next year so i cant give my opinion yet but in my case it feels the same but just different numbers
facts
Our generation is finito if people accept their mediocrity so easily
number 2 is very important which ive seen, ive tutored a lot of people and they struggle with things that we have done in grade 9 and they are gr10, like when you have (x+ 1)/x then they would just devide the x and say the answer is 1 :/
its really simple stuff that people struggle the most with
No one here is being mediocre though? Why are you even bringing this up
lmao
How often does the subject of chatgpt come up here? I feel like it fulfills what this discord is about instantly
"what this discord is about"?
pseudo intellectual drivel that pretends to be correct while typically being filled with errors?
i suppose it does yeah
chatgpt is good but it has given me a lot of wrong answers
Right
You know every answer chatGPT can give you can also be obtained with a few google searches?
yeah but i tested if it could give me random math questions
There's nothing new about being able to have your questions answered by a program
Search engines have existed since a really long time ago
GUYS
With some effort and extra Google searches to clear up any terms the answer you found doesn't explain
WHAT IF EVERY MEMBER OF THIS DISCORD WAS A CHATGPT BOT
What if nothing was real
it performs amazing in code
Sorry but this message is very unrealistic, please contact for more
Yeah that's what's a bit odd, very good in code but makes mistakes in math. Wonder why
thats a joke
true
thats gonne be me next year in LO
*cheatgpt
lmao
you watched the video of him being interviewed like a google interview
aint clicking links
sketch
Maybe something like "write code to solve the the answer to "math problem", then give an explanation for how it is solved.
hahaha yeah
I used it earlier today to help create a daily plan to review algebra through calculus in the next two months, then asked it whether Google calendar has a way to add the calendar in without going through the work of copy lasting every single day. It gave me some python code to use Google calendar's API. I'm mind blown... We'll see if the topics it gave to study will work and and are intuitive, not skipping steps.
I once tricked the bot into saying indecent\offensive stuff lmao, and breaking the guidelines that he usually follows
There are tricks that still break his guidelines
thats weird cuz it made very big mistakes in basic grade 10 algebra
Oh ok I looked at your links and was confused about the correlation, this is cool
but eh, everything has its flaws
lmao
but
you can correct it, and it instantly recognises its mistake and fixes it
which is pretty cool
it even says sorry and thank you
maybe
maybe its so smart that basic algebra is to hard
thats also a joke
it once said that 4x -4x = -2x. which is a very weird mistake
yeah
hi
anyone know how to edit the linux kernel from a root shell? link me something i need help
Maybe most of the training data for elementary mathematics contained mistakes
Like assignments being corrected
Or maybe just, too much of it contained mistakes
Comes with the nature
It's math
I love how it knows latex though
lol it uses \text{sin} instead of \sin
10/10
@neat frost merry christmas!

Merry xmas DarQ!
That's inzane! (Lololol)
do jewish people celebrate christmas?
You have two guesses
$\left\langle a|0 \right\rangle+\left\langle b|1 \right\rangle$
北京
they do?
they do then?
There are some Jews who do, but generally religious Jews do not
Very rare to find a religious Jew who does
I celebrate Christmas
Cuz I am a firm (literally) believer in capitalism
Succ balls communist pigs
Why would I waste my time on pseudoscience
all I have right now is like 50$. Feels good
Economics can be summed up in two words: "trickle down (economics)"
Yohan your whole personality is based around... uh... actually I'm not sure you have one!
I haven't read too much on the subject but communism literally sounds way better than w/e tf the economic situation in america is lmfao
You know guys what I gifted myself for Christmas
the most expensive markers in the world tbh.
hate to say it but prolly not even close
Bro there ain't more expensive. They literally $6.56 each
I need them 'caus I'm a Design student
idk historically communism doesn't seem to have worked especially well, but I am also not an expert and I quite frankly don't feel like establishing an opinion on this
I did say sounds better
Your brain is dumb
first design student I've met on the server lel
nice to meet you!
Not nice to meet you.
stfu slurp
Everyone here who isn't DarQ is a loser
Also happens to be that DarQ is a loser as well
Well I'm only legally a design student. I'm already enrolled even if lessons start in 6 months
I'm just sketching in my free time and preparing for next year stuff
Yohan all my self own are intentional
jokes on you, yohan
Joke's not on Yohan, joke is yohan
Haha lol yohan not make a pop culture reference in 5 min (impossible)
I am sure in this server there will be a few of students like Architecture or Design, because a little math is taken there.

I have half a mind to report you right now you abusive fuck
what is going on here
lets keep it civil pls
hello mod
Yohan you overestimate just how devastating your "owns" are
(Not very)
I doubt it
You're just incapable of coming up with original insults
Yeah but idc
I bet you stole that insult from blo
Sure
Was it wew then?

He did?
What?

What?
Wow?
Wtf?
Maybe I'll leave too then
