There's definitely something meaningful, it to measure someones ability at something. We could do an IQ test for pattern recognition and then use that information before an interview for data scientist jobs to have a frame work about the person's ability / and then give them another test for the interview that they were meant to take and see the comparison of things. It shows how much the person has potential for growth to suppose, the person gets a 98% on the first general pattern recognition test and then the second data scientist quiz he scores 54% or something. We can use the comparison and gets lots of information about the person and their potential for growth if taken in to learn more data science at the company or something.
Another thing they can be used for is for personal gain. Suppose someone scores 145 and get admitted in MENSA then they would use this opportunity to socialize with other people similar to them and get to know more people.
It's definitely useful
BUT saying that it is true that your not supposed to use it outside of it, your not supposed to base your companies decision making on IQ test scores, and people who score highest shouldn't get automatic promotions.

Let's assume we were built with a default mode in this game of life and spawned with it, "offending egos" as you put it, does this mean we can't change it ? My original question was that why are all these people, especially that guy. When he lost got offended, the whole point of debates is to prove a point and one side would always lose in that they must learn and agree once they see the logic.
