twitter is a private company, they can ban whoever they want
so they shouldnt be treated as some sort of public square
Hmm, true
its funny because courts decided that twitter users should have access to the presidential account and posts
I'm thinking if something about Twitter (the site) being big and having a lot of influence somehow affected their designation of "it's a public square"?
and then twitter bans a user from even using the platform
how is trump going to have access to the president's tweets? or any potential user for that matter
how is one a violation of 1st amendment but not the other
"Trump going to have access to the president"?
yea, he's not president anymore
Ah, Biden
I mean, I imagine Trump can view Biden's tweets? I'm not disputing though that Twitter (the staff(?)) can't ban someone
anyone can view the president's tweets
so why the court decision
twitter getting special handling is nothing new
I imagine the court decision was more about Trump deciding not to see others' tweets, not other people deciding not to see Trump's tweets
Oh, should emphasize "I imagine" there
the decision was that trump, blocking people on the presidential account, was violating people's first amendment right to view "official government tweets"
and then twitter banned trump, so now he can't view the president's tweets
(i realise i look like im arguing for trump)
(im not)
((im arguing against twitter))
(((((fuck twitter)))))
going lisp mode over here
Ignoring the reasons why Trump was banned, I'm confused why it's the case that banning means "can't view others' tweets, including Biden's"
if youre banned, supposedly you cant use the platform
thats not true realistically, just make a new account lol
…and you can view them when you're not logged in, i imagine, lol
yea
well its limited
i thought twitter was open for viewing, but now i guess you nee d an account to do most things
sucks
and you need to give them a phone number too for verification
Yeah, I'm curious whether the court decision decided instead that Twitter is not open for viewing
Because I imagine *this* would make some sense under the 1A, but I'm not sure with "Twitter is legally closed for viewing"

duck sized horses
duck sized horses
definitely duck sized horses
one horse sized duck because its a duck lol.. whats it gonna do to you with his rubber lips lol.. 100 little horses running around you kicking and biting you
well the thing is horses don't bite but ducks do
Horses can definitely bite you
never seen it before
really i've seen horses bite little kids irl
also it's probably easier to take smaller stuff at a time than a big one at once
i think the point of the question is because the big one is harmless anyway.. its like a big bag of feathers lol
i would definitely not fuck with a horse sized duck
i'd give em a big hug lol
what if it's hostile
the question asked for a fight ok
yeah which means you're gonna have to fight em
(casually fights giant duck)
big duck fluffs his feathers up and gives @jovial oriole a big left lol
the feathers hit em so hard he doesn't know what to do
lmao
crit 100%
lolll they run after you like they're gonna do anything and you run from em cuz you're lmao i cant even say it
im lol so hard
uh, did you leave all of your daily medication list in your bio?
yeah so lol
this is better than all those medicines combined
are you guys being for real or am i being trolled.. either way man this is funny shit
for real about what, its a hypothetical
lol
i would personally rather fight a bunch of micro horses than a giant duck
the duck literally has zero against you.. thats the whole point.. he cant do nothing to you
what do you expect a duck to do
with rubber lips?
ducks have teeth
lol
oh my lord you really havent seen an angry duck, have you?
imagine something with 15 horse power, kicking you right in the nuts on just a few square centimetres, all that power on such a small area
how would a duck sized horse reach my nuts
they're jumpers i tell you
a horse sized duck
100 little guys trying to bite you and kick you vs. feathers.. thats just funny
ah well, my point no longer stands
it flies
because that's how nonsensical it seems
i'd pick the latter

any cat-owners here?

Statistically, there are over 300k members, it's very unlikely that there would not be any cat owners in the server
i beg to differ
What is your basis?
Data shows that approximately 25% of U.S. households own cats
I don't have statsvworldwide
But uh
Statistically speaking a collection of 300,000+ people is extremely likely to include cat owners
i'm a cat owner i disagree with you
man that’s cold!!!!
Haha nice picture
Did you know that Cyprus has more cats than people
And a large percentage of them are strays
And friendly
You can just pick one up and take it home
Congrats youre a cat owner now

Anyone who knows rust here?
me, as well as many others
Do you know why this
use rand::Rng;
. . .rand::thread_rng(). . .
Instead of
. . .rand::Rng::thread_rng(). . .
?
Can you explain it with python example if possible?
that's not correct, it would be
use rand::Rng;
. . .Rng::thread_rng(). . .
so it's similar to from ... import ..
I TAKE THAT BACK
"The book" said this
Not yet, I'm just at chapter 2
I'm trying to understand the guessing game hahaha
I understand the std::io part. It's similar to
from std import io
yes
But this rand::Rng is just weird to me hahaha
You'll understand the Rng thing once you get to the trait chapter
but essentially you can only use functions from a trait when the trait is in scope
so that brings the Rng trait into scope
Is there any equivalent to that in python?
uhh, not sure
NO I'M WRONG AGAIN
rand::Rng is needed for .gen_range(), not thread_rng()
Eh?
they're defined here https://docs.rs/rand/latest/rand/fn.thread_rng.html and here https://docs.rs/rand/latest/rand/trait.Rng.html
Retrieve the lazily-initialized thread-local random number generator, seeded by the system. Intended to be used in method chaining style, e.g. thread_rng().gen::(), or cached locally, e.g. let mut rng = thread_rng();. Invoked by the Default trait, making ThreadRng::default() equivalent.
An automatically-implemented extension trait on [RngCore] providing high-level generic methods for sampling values and other convenience methods.
basically, gen_range is a function defined as part of the Rng trait. so to be able to use the gen_range function, Rng needs to be in scope.
rand::rngs::ThreadRng, which is what rand::thread_rng() outputs, implements the trait rand::Rng, which means that you can use the gen_range method on it insofar as rand::Rng is in scope
it'll all make more sense once you get to the traits chapter
I'm not sure I get it hahaha.
It's like
from rand import Rng
rand.thread_rng().gen_range()
Like the Rng is not in use lol
hi
it is, because it's a trait. you don't have to use it in the code for it to be in use.
Okay, I will take a look at it real quick hahaha thank you dawn!
they're a feature that's not really available as a core language construct in Python, so it's kind of hard to model
I haven't used Java, but I hear that they're sort of like Java interfaces
and similar enough to Haskell typeclasses
The doc said that traits are often called interfaces on other languages
I might take a look on what is interface too to really understand it
you shouldn't need to
@wraith hound I'm actually considering a more "conversational" architecture to my compiler as opposed to something like what I'm working with in PureScript where it basically has its own build system embedded in the compiler and the phases are hardcoded/have indeterminate order.
The idea is that each general step in the pipeline is independent of each other and they (e.g. type checking -> desugaring -> code generation) emit artifacts that can be intercepted arbitrarily by external consumers, kinda like a message passing system
interesting. I've been using a query-based architecture for mine, so the phase order is not exactly explicit.
@craggy crypt multipost detected...
also, python3 x.py build --stage 2 takes 10 minutes
damn, that's fast
I've heard that it takes up to 40 or event longer for some people
:p
I feel like it has to do with LLVM being absolutely bonkers on Apple Silicon

https://twitter.com/TheNintendude64/status/1538313947769622528?s=20&t=JZ1xru42ykRE0nnU1-jZ2g "Mm, boob saas"
@austere elm what time are you getting? I should solve it and see what I get
yeah that must be doing something really weird because my dumbass solution without trie got 161ms
as in - trie should be faster
also, why is leetcode so obnoxious
my solution is just sort and then repeated filter
oh
it might be the case that the problem doesn't make sense in python, because I end up using C code (str.startswith, slicing, sort)
what is the complexity of sorting and filtering
why are you asking that when you're using that absurdly clever trie lol
creating a trie is O(n) and after that you basically just iterate the trie, it's almost no work at all
im also using a bfs
so sorting is already lots more work, and then the repeated str.startswith is pretty bad too
wdym bfs
oh nvm i changed it to heap right
there's no searching involved
searching for 3 words with prefix in the trie
you wouldn't search
idk wether to call it bfs or back tracking or what
you'd just follow the letters, but maybe that's what you mean
if you're actually searching anything other than following the letters then yeah that would be wrong
its not searching im actually traversing
to find all possible words with given prefix
return sorted(words)[:3] this is wrong yeah
i removed it
you would only traverse the first three, so no reason to slice
you'd also traverse them in order, so no reason to sort either
class Solution:
def suggestedProducts(self, products: List[str], searchWord: str) -> List[List[str]]:
Trie = lambda : defaultdict(Trie)
root = Trie()
for product in products:
reduce(dict.__getitem__ , product , root)['*'] = '*'
def get_words(node):
heap = [('',node)]
heapq.heapify(heap)
words = []
count = 0
while heap and count < 3:
word , node = heapq.heappop(heap)
for c in node:
if c != '*':
heapq.heappush(heap , (word + c , node[c]))
else:
words.append(temp + word)
count += 1
return words
res = []
curr = root
temp = ''
for c in searchWord:
temp += c
curr = curr[c]
res.append(get_words(curr))
return res
im passing the node after finding the prefix
then it gets min 3 words from the given prefix
it's probably right.. maybe.
@austere elm one thing that's weird is that you re-start the search from the top instead of keeping your location in the trie
no?
each letter you add would correspond to going one step further
then you would iterate 3 steps from there
then you go one step further (next letter) and iterate 3 times again
oh you don't.
where am i restarting

But does it re-raise the exception?
no
its a tkinter app, it logs to the console and then kills whatever you had processing

It’s a combination of English, Chinese, Indian languages and a couple challenging sounds specialised for my friend and I

If it kills anyway, then why not just re-raise?
It doesnt kill the app, just whatever the app was doing
Its processing excel sheets
I dont want to stop the gui from working, i wanna abort the process and let them know what to fix
In general uts a gosh darn mess
And im trying my best to salvage it
@wary harbor what you're referring to is brace style, and for brace-based languages, like js, it doesn't really matter where they go. wiki has discussion and a list of the various styles here: (examples are in C code, but the braces are the important part) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indentation_style
note that python does not use braces for indentation
In computer programming, an indentation style is a convention governing the indentation of blocks of code to convey program structure. This article largely addresses the free-form languages, such as C and its descendants, but can be (and often is) applied to most other programming languages (especially those in the curly bracket family), where w...
so it can be in the same line
yes, there's sort of a holy war between putting open braces for functions on the same line or the one after. same line is generally agreed on, however, for if/else blocks
basically whitespace is irrelevant in JS and numerous other languages (aside from token disambiguation)
wait so when does indentation matter in js
it doesn't as far as I am aware
so technically an entire program can be in 2 line?
it could be in 1 for all JS cares
because there's a lot of things it's not good at
different problems require different ways of modeling solutions, and often times that's a language-level thing
ik but its so much easier
Different languages are good for different things
any recommendations for learning js?
Python is definitely neat, but you wouldn't want it for something like systems development
w3schools doesnt xplain well

here are some cycling pythons
what's that first image there
it's a... python cycling?
Haskell programmers, on the other hand, are real people
these people are clearly more productive, programming while cycling
CSS is pretty hard
try C programmers
Where are rust programmers
crabs can't ride bicycles
And also PHP programmers? Oh wait they don't exist
PHP programmers can't ride bicycles because the <?php tags get tangled in the bicycle spokes
Why not if a python can?
because snakes are smart
Not very spectacular. But at least the bottom-right one can hop
and what about C++? Do they just turn bike into motorbike?
maybe they're just pointer hopping 😉
is the 4th one riding two bicycles?
He is just using threading stupid
also wait... what are the cyclists in 1 and 8 doing? they are neither in the saddle nor on the pedals.
They are imposters
how about Bike programmers

they are cycling out of bounds, which is undefined behaviour

@ancient minnow so i ran into the exact same problem and came up with a solution as well
for my gmail account i just enabled 2fa (very important) and i generated 10 backup codes in case i can't verify (also very important). then i just went to the app passwords section of my google account, and i created a new app password for an app name (you choose the app name), then you need to copy it and save it somewhere like a password manager, i have it memorized though.
Has anyone ever messed with GRPC? I am struggling to understand why it needs to generate separate code-files. Why not wrap it all in the module? For example, the Python code that it generates is super messy. I could really do without it

Oh good

why does the Discord Android app crash sooooo much
The only time I ever have the app crash is when 75+ blocked messages are on the screen at once
Other than that it's been pretty strange
Stable**
it doesn't crash nearly as much as reddit for me
!pypi CLImail
can I suggest adding https://github.com/github/gitignore/blob/main/Python.gitignore as your .gitignore
sure why not
alr
git rm --cached . iirc
An oscilloscope can be made to display shapes by playing sounds into it. Making music from these sounds while simultaneously drawing images with those sounds takes things to another level. CLICK SHOW MORE
In the video I fix up and put an old oscilloscope to a new use, and show how you can watch these audio-visual demos even if you don't have a ...
It's a Discord app and on top of that, it's a rewrite, so, uhh, crashes and instability is expected
the rewrite is a React Native app, isn't it?
Despacito moment
ah yes, Oscilloscope is a music instrument
kotlin ig
React*
U r correct
So, they've moved to React Native now?
Since previously, they were doing as a native Java (the environment, not language) app
The older app was also made with React
no
I'm pretty sure it's a Java app because of performance considerations
I'm agreeing with you here
yeah its stated as such in the discord blog too
Javascript is so easy to learn that the easiest way to break into a software dev career is through frontend dev
easy to learn, impossible to debug

Guys
Bad Ending: Argon never had self aware, never restored his artistic interest and music interest also continued being ”Blue Eagle”, causing him to get tracked from internet by online forums and rejected from tech forums.
Neutral Ending: Argon started being self aware in Late 2021 to Early 2022, restored his artistic interest and some music interest, stopped being delusional and talking trash but his past vulgar behaviour history never got deleted and he still have autistic behaviours such as repeated speech and rarely narrow interest. At least he is loved and spends less time on the internet.
Good Ending: Argon never got into internet at age of 4 but instead age of 13, defeated his autistic behaviours completely, have enough knowledge of life and has lots of friends. He is also mastered at drawing. Wow what a good life!
Which is the current ending right now to me?
I just realized stelercus is not actually a pope. He’s been pulling the wool over our eyes this entire time!
@reef geyser it appears you stumbled onto something interesting:
- french doesn't have a single number, but appears to hit a loop (quatre -> six -> trois -> cinq -> quatre, 46354)
- spanish has both a loop (seis -> quatro -> seis, 646) and a terminating value (cinco, 5)
- german, like english, terminates at vier (4)
- italian terminates with tre (3)
i'm curious for an extended analysis of this
Uploaded what

Also I heard flutter which uses dart language and make apps for both android and apps . so should I directly learn dart language? do then I have to solve again dsa questions in dart language alos
someone can suggest
?
Climail
LOL
lmfao how
idk ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Some random minecraft play just threw smth at a beacon
and the game crashed with that error displayed on the screen
I love Java
the funny thing is:
java.lang.StackOverflowError
XD
ye when it runs into infinite recursion or encounters a memory leak in the JVM
my sister managed to crash the launcher with a mem leak by spamming the close button at one point lmao
i get that StackOverflowError error whenever I copy code of StackOverflow and it doesn't work XD
Interesting,
StackOverflow code examples are a lucky packet tbh
Sometimes they're great, sometimes crap
That's why I normally stick with Python docs or W3Schools docs
Stack is kind of storage used to gather what executed what and state of variables then
It's not "funny", it's literally how StackOverflow website got its name
Ohk-
When you get an exception, you get a stack trace (it shows how it goes back from the error, so it's also called a traceback)
0xDEADBEEF was also a great one I looked up today
ol Hexspeak
supposedly this was a way in Hex back in the late '70s at IBM to define a specific area where data wasn't stored/used IIRC
lol
first time?
@tranquil orchid I have coaching in 3 hours, can you share now? 🙏
Didn't you see my ping 👀
omfg, is HIKARU WINNING THIS AGAINST FABI
you gotta win this naka, don't throw like you did against nepo

i saw it for the first time yea
bruh fabi losing
position is getting better for fabi, but still lost i think
hikaru's gonna win this
he found Ra2 man
lol
Guys. When I open my patreon page, will I earn a lot of money?
Because I want to benefit from hardwork.
Every work is rewarded with apple.
If i did some hardwork this would happen.
patreon requires you to already have some following as content creator (in any field). otherwise no one would be willing to support you, so they can even refuse to open your creator account
then you'd want to have some patron perks - sneak-peeks, early releases, or exclusive content for patrons
right now I support one artist on patreon and damn, the exclusive art is
Yeah. "When I open...", no probably not right away. Anyone making money on patreon has had to work for that incoming through getting their project/name known.
It's a worth-while venture though, imo. Take the time to ensure you aren't putting yourself in a situation where you lose money (keep initial perks free-to-you).
Well looks like "I need to eat 40 breads". A Turkish Idiom.
Also proof of content creating.
sus
Does Kofi have this barrier of needing a following already?
Am I allowed to make a dad joke?
i cant stop using flutter for new projects
never gonna using react or any js framework again
though it may not be the best option for webdev
but its simple and straight forward
and dart is great too
wayyy better than js
yes
Eventually I'll get into Flutter
Though app I'm making right now isn't really well suited for Flutter
👍
what is the app 👀
A note taking app with the knowledge base feature from Obsidian.md to connect together related notes featuring a Markdown editor as powerful as Typora's (provided by the Milkdown library)
oh, nice
Instead of having to let Flutter parse and render HTML, which are valid Markdown, instead let the browser do the work
I don't think so. Kofi is tipping, not continuous support, so I think even small content creators can use it
!pypi github
hmm
yes
i will also make a dad joke ... your mom tells better jokes than your dad
probably because
Because she's my mom and not my dad
I need things to do with my raspberry pi pico
@mighty steeple how did selenium fix it?
hey mina can i ask you a question? about the workflow checks when contributing to a migration of a pinned message to the pythondiscord site?
sure, i didn't look closely but it's likely failing linting?
im having an issue with the checks and both of the reviewers you sent bluenix and robin i think are sleeping😭
is the error robin said to pass a new line but theirs 2
alright!
do you have the code locally?
is there anything after that or is that the end?
you should be able to run poetry run task lint or something like that to automatically fix that
if precommit changed your file you have to re-stage before committing again
nope i just pressed enter but it seems like github removes them
or if you changed something
nope it was a gist
oh
gosh i need to learn poetry😔
the task is not a native poetry thing, that's done by taskipy
i can help you with this tmrw maybe, or you can start asking for help in #dev-contrib
if you're willing to do a quick clone, locally would be the easiest way to solve it
but if you read the contributing guide very carefully you should be able to figure it out
ill ask for robin for further help when hes online😅
which?

Where to start
- Read our contribution guide
- Chat with us in #dev-contrib if you're ready to jump in or have any questions
- Open an issue or ask to be assigned to an issue to work on
that one
ill check it out thanks to all of you!
this should be a fairly simple linting fix, like
git clone https://github.com/Okimii/site.git -b migration-of-a-newly-pinned-message
cd site
poetry install
poetry run task lint
git add .
git commit -m "fix: linting failures"
git push -u origin migration-of-a-newly-pinned-message
or something along those lines
ill have to check it with github desktop because i havent used git cli really and ill have to use poetry for the first time 😅
I would try it but my poetry installation is fucked
lovely
ah, I've never used a git gui so I dunno how they work
i have heard i think github ui chops those trailing lines off and thus fail linters, supposedly
so yeah, local repo setup
you also should format your markdown similar to other pages on the site. if you poke around in resources you'll see the differences
i just made a md file in githubs website 😭
https://deploy-preview-732--pydis-static.netlify.app/pages/guides/python-guides/bot_presence/ if you take a look here, you'll see a couple things that are a little bit wrong, such as the double title
Hey! I just got the page_source from selenium, when it returned it the characters turned out to be fine
https://github.com/python-discord/site/runs/6141304713?check_suite_focus=true i checked this pr and it seems to have the same issue
pythondiscord.com - A Django and Bulma web application. - Migrate "Keeping Discord Bot Tokens Safe" pin · python-discord/site@c148879
ah my bad ill fix that
interesting!
i checked the md file and yes it has the ending new line
i removed the line but still the same issue
Yeah, i think that bs4's parsing, with that particular website was mucking it up somehow. Thankfully selenium worked just fine. (maybe it was the heavy javascript? The website is basically the doordash or ubereats of korea)
@wraith hound just checked poetry's docs and its quite easy ill be using it thank you for giving me the motivation ig😅
Don't some editors do that after saving the file?
probably the linter just following pep8 standards
On Markdown files, interesting
the JS shouldn't matter. but I wonder why you're able to see the hangul characters in Jupyter cells but not in bs4's output
let me try
vsc doesnt lol
I guess I need to find how to disable that
For me it auto adds a new line after saving any file
Hence why I uninstalled and use Fleet
weird mine never does
Might reinstall to see one day, but Fleet works fine for now
Just disable Format On Save
I haven't gotten access yet 😔
Yeah but sometimes that's useful
Well that's a feature of the formatter
I just don't want it to add a new line at the end when saving any type of file, doesn't really make sense
Fleet like the ide?
Yeah
it looks nice and never heard of it
is it in beta testing orrr
Closed beta yeah
i need it
I don't believe you can apply anymore

just send the src code
Yeah, only the newsletter
Needs a local account on JetBrains Toolbox
So even with the file to launch, won't get anywhere
ill have to wait, it looks so good and it has so much cool exts
😭
Has no extensions/plugins yet
mk
Fleet will be a commercial product with fair pricing that reflects the value it provides.
me with no money: 🗿
It's just unfortunate that they don't make it free, would finally be a nice concurrent to VSC
yep
No idea man, just worked XD Is this how programming goes?
speaking of which, do you speak korean yourself?
nah. just some very basic 😅
programming can sometimes be trial and error. encodings especially are a mess

I'm having a hard time understanding classes but I can't quite articulate it
They can be tricky, but once it clicks its pretty great

Those are some good articles, I'm sure there are a few more too
If you have any questions def dont hesitate to ask!
How does this look?
ngl, reminds me of the game Lua Learning on Roblox
im not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing
i didnt focus on the colors much
using the default dark theme for now
yeah, the light theme version is awful
I'd say neutral, and yeah the light theme makes me think of a mix of Windows XP and the typical cash grab Roblox game UI
Hm, maybe this'll help https://color.adobe.com/
thanks
ill check that out
It's a free online web app
looks pretty cluttered and uneven(probably because of the paragraphs), are you bootstrapping?
perhaps spacing it out a bit more might look neat
wdym bootstrapping?
i am not using bootstrap if thats what you're asking
oh ok, pure css?
im using flutter
👌 will do
Personally I like it besides a few points
- Not really a fan of the navbar at the left
- The text not aligned with all the other cards at the bottom is kind of 'triggering' my eye
The color palette for the dark theme is all right, the light theme color palette makes it hard to differentiate the cards from the background.
Other than that it looks nice, don't hesitate to post some updates about it :)
- Not really a fan of the navbar at the left
what do you suggest instead of it? a drawer?
or removing it completely
Personally I'd remove it and use a top nav bar, you would then have more space for the content that matters the most
oh thats actually a good idea, thanks!
Oh and it seems like when you hover on a card, see the screenshot of the light theme, the blur in the background is not flowing correctly on the left, it directly stops - might want to take a look at that.
oh yeah, that's probably because the shadow cant extend more than the size of the card
oh wait no
i forgot that i gave it a padding
I'd say it's the border of the container you have that is locked there
Just laughed today when I looked back at my blog post ideas I wrote in the past
Any Strava users here? Is there a easy way to detect and "smooth out" GPS lag? The lag leads to jumps in the GPS data, causing Strava to overestimate the top speed
I guess it's possible to manipulate the GPX data somehow
brad is (was?) a Strava user IIRC
For the data vis project I just take the average and then filter out the max speeds above 2ish standard deviations
I should probably look into it some day 👀
do you mind if I steal it and do stuff with it?
ah it's GPLv3 so I guess I'll need to publish the stolen copy
Anyway. I transported a 6L water bottle on a bicycle and now I'm starting to understand why bike couriers ride differently
Tbh I'm having a hard time understanding how they carry such heavy backpacks. That must suck.
Although, maybe the average order it not a giant water bottl
That can change
Black magic
Python got ratio'ed
it had the most liked votes (23k) but since the like to dislike ratio was not that good it was placed lower
the nice thing about this is that the dislikes are probably from those who consider python's whitespace style anathema, and not from those who have legitimate complaints against python
at least that's the hope
yeah
@obsidian axle you might find this chapter helpful at understanding the difference between pass-by-value and pass-by-reference. It really helped for me at least :)
avie did a wonderful job at explaining it, this might help you grasp the lower level details
what book is that from?
I think that's the one
Who would've thought they needed an entire book
thanks i went down a c book rabbit hole and found too many
is theere anyone that plays chess?
stackoverflow surveys are not a good metric
see how many responds are there in julia compared to python
and you know what i mean
