You can get a handful of 16GB or 32GB flash drives, plug them into a computer, plug the phone into the same computer, copy/paste, and do that every so often

Yeah I store my pictures on 2 SD card's, so if my system gets fucked or something happens with the device which has all the pictures stored I'll have copies in 2 SD card's.

Well - I'm guessing that's what he means by encourage. Explain the potential risks, and provide a solution. If it's a relatively modern phone, there's probably a mechanism to keep it unlocked when it's actually at home (I know my mum does that with her note8)

I learned touch typing and went from ~55wpm to ~80wpm. It definitely seems worth it, it's not just speed, typing just requires less effort. It might seem like typing right now requires 0 effort, but I'm pretty sure you'd notice the difference if you learned to touch type

i can only get above 100+ wpm on my macbook, because it has a smaller keyboard

on my mech keyboard the spacing and keysize are different, and i'm not used to it

not to mention the keys have to be pressed down further than my laptop

Okay! So I have an app which has two activities, the first activity appears once, only when the user starts the app for the first time.

This first activity takes a user input and passes it to the second activity which then displays it

So I expect to see this whenever I open my app, but in my case, I see an empty screen when I open my app again

Here's the code for my first activity:
