I'd say about half. The words we use is slightly different. Example if I say I want to turn around in Malay, I'd say "Aku berpusing". But to an Indonesian, that means "I'm dizzy". They say "Saya belok". We use "belok" the same but its uncommon in usage. So it will take some time getting used to. We've been taught the "standard" Malay through school.
