I log in to the router to find out that at some point my partner disabled one WAN and kept the LTE only, and later forgot to enable the second WAN - and the LTE WAN is currently same carrier as my mobile, that's why both are shitty. 🤦

(Router load balances the two WANs normally and when one fails, it switches.. But it couldn't switch because the other WAN was manually disabled... I think I know when we did that)

Btw "I know when we did that", is there a list of discord-owned ips somewhere?
Because our voice/video calls are shitty and our guess is that the router load balances the different connections that the call consists of to different WANs (because disabling one WAN fixes it).

At it's core, it's a field about using programs to hold real-world information and make inferrences and decisions based on it. It can be done via genAI, but it can also be done in other, perhaps less opaque ways. It is also a fairly valuable bit of terminology if you ever need to discuss the usecases.
