Can you solve this real interview question? Build an Array With Stack Operations - You are given an integer array target and an integer n.
You have an empty stack with the two following operations:
- "Push": pushes an integer to the top of the stack.
- "Pop": removes the integer on the top of the stack.
You also have a stream of the integer...

Yeah don't think we got around to fixing it
function docs probably shouldn't be aligned because the signatures are too big on their own

im not really a master of pc so cant help ya sorry
does it happen before OS booting or after?
(I'd guess before)
might be an issue with boot record
might be hardware issue

it never shows anything at all, right?
My laptop works fine in morning and I open it in evening it doesn't work blank screen
Yeah
π
Does it boot?
Nope
I'd test with external bootable media attached just to make sure
(that it's not a hard drive issue)
Because I've had situations where the screen doesn't work, common enough, but the unit itself still boots.
where do i showcase my python stuff?

I think this server blocks you from talking ... not sure what the talking criteria is, been here a while...
it does not
requires a mod in the VC

yes, to make sure what you're streaming is appropriate
it does

okay, good
I need to read up on something. Alisa is running programs with !e without changing any code in this chat. o_O
ooooooooooohhhhhhhh- that makes sense. You're not changing the immutable property- you're changing a NEW list/instance.
But you're describing essentially a copy/paste. yeah
copy/paste - change - rename to original and overwrite....
I want to create py tesserect image to text API using FAST API it work on my PC I want to deploy in Vercel there is the way to deploy

They do- and it's annoying.

1am. Time to head out. Thanks for chatting Opal. I appreciate the welcome. π
what type do you need?
for it to return
as_str()
- fully-qualified path
as_ref is rarely necessary unless you're dealing with smart pointers or generic inputs
what do match arms contain?
pub fn from_str(span: Span, lexeme: String) -> Self {
Self {
kind: match lexeme.as_ref() {
_ => TokenKind::Identifier,
},
span,
lexeme,
}
}
hmmm
to_owned is guaranteed to have a specific type, unlike as_ref
and so is deref
borrow is non-specific too
Hii alisa my laptop is works now but my battery is damaged and battery is swollen can i use my laptop without battery for some hours a day can it damaged my motherboard?
because the type is a parameter of the trait, not an associated type
as_str is more correct I think
if the battery is damaged, there's probably no other choice than to use it without a battery
while it works, make sure to back up all the important data
associated types are extremely powerful but confusing at times
one of the cursed tricks with associated types is that you can extract all references to Self as Self::Something
(I've used this trick for implementing multiple blanket implementations for the same trait)
another odd thing happening for a similar reason
https://parrrate.github.io/exercises/exercises/fromref.html
making a project in Rust
for the past ~3 months
the hint to why it fails is in how the fully-qualified call looks like
From::from isn't general enough
yes, it's almost entirely about lifetimes
any function that converts a &str to String is okay there
closures are allowed too
it wants From::from<'any> but it gets From<'undefined>::from
because the method looks like
<String as From<'undefined>>::from
// ^^^^^^^^^^ doesn't error because the compiler is okay with fake lifetimes
all these should work there
|s| String::from(s)
str::to_string
str::to_owned
the solution I test with has a custom trait FromRef instead
this is from the easier half of the 12 exercises
Rust's standard library is relatively small, it's somewhat easy to just read all the docs
and also it doesn't absorb questionable stuff like XML support

well i tried to figure out abot that articles
but im more likely on my udemy educations atm
like data analysing and machine learning
are they created by ai totally ?=
100% AI yes, they're also being trained apparently

@wise loom caould you give me a task
@wise loom this way I can see with you what level I am at and how far I have come.
well, that would require me to be very good at the area you're interested in
@shadow pivot what do you want the task to be about?
anything
so i can search and report to you
doesnt have to be about job
just a lil tasks special for me
should i do the same kind of project on my github ?
you should solve the problems on your own, give yourself some time to do that and if you can't solve them check the solutions

Yes, I am a computer engineering student, so I work in software engineering and DevOps, and a bit of data as well.
I'm working in data science, and I'm building a machine learning model to predict the results of the World Cup
and I' doing an internship with Orange, where I'm working as a data analyst

I've seen some projects at Deloitte in the field of LLM, and I've applied to them.
i am from morocco
and you where are you from ?

in North Africa
yeah but in morrocco we have a great project in software
but in IA not reallt

yeah yeah you can learn everything from youtube
I have a friend who is doing an internship with the World Bank, and he is working on the feasibility of a hyper-scaler coming to Morocco to establish a Cloud region and AI services. We can say that the country is growing.

any good way to represent a set of graph points?
like initial idea is list[tuple[float,float]]
but you can have identical x values: [(1.3, 0.2), (9.7, 9.3), (1.3, 0.9)]
That's what I would use
I'd think that a dict would work, but that doesn't seem good for big graphs
dict[float, float]

what is await in python
my mouse is pretty close
You go to a cafe, right? And you make an order. But you're stuck waiting at the front desk and twiddling your thumbs before you get your food/coffee to sit down. With async, it's different. You place your order, they start making it, but instead of waiting at the counter you're given a buzzer. You go find a seat, maybe get out your laptop, start doing some work, etc. When your coffee is ready, the buzzer goes off. This is the 'await' part where your attention switches back to the original task: you go pick up your coffee when it's done.
How can I apply await here then??
it says I need to use await for channel.typing, asyncio.sleep and channel.send
class MyClient(discord.Client):
def run_on_connect(self):

is there any way to increment a value inside a class?
the setattr(self, 'attr', value) overwrite the value
I found that I could use other way around like:
def incrementVal(self, key, value):
self.__dict__[key] += value
but this seems a little... weird way to do that

Hey
it feels so weird to talk in vc in text
I write here too.. even if I am in VC
What are you doing?
i wanna write an app but i dont wanna write it
Only the OP must know how primality of a number is related to proving/disproving RH..
HAJHJAHJA
i want an app to do something very specific
ive never had ribs
btw
i found someone who really likes rust

ribs can be p good actually
i like it unless im doin some bullshit
very remotely as the hypothesis has something to do with predicting (exact) prime numbers distribution
I'm learning python. Do you have any recommendations?
!resources <-- stuff to read/watch
The Resources page on our website contains a list of hand-selected learning resources that we regularly recommend to both beginners and experts.
!kindling <-- stuff to do
The Kindling projects page on Ned Batchelder's website contains a list of projects and ideas programmers can tackle to build their skills and knowledge.
Thanks
Corey Schafer, YouTuber, Playlist for Python Beginners.
Thanks
iirc, that playlist is mentioned there too
Thanks. I'm reading some books about programming in general. And data structures
Thanks, guys!
"better" is too subjective
(so, like, what company views as a "better developer" might be different from what the developers themselves see)
@dusky lynx transferring files where?
or storing?
scp is ssh copy
(or secure copy, I don't remember how exactly it's intended to deacronym)
"secure copy protocol"

!d random.randint
random.randint(a, b)```
Return a random integer *N* such that `a <= N <= b`. Alias for `randrange(a, b+1)`.
!d random.randrange
random.randrange(stop)``````py
random.randrange(start, stop[, step])```
Return a randomly selected element from `range(start, stop, step)`.
This is roughly equivalent to `choice(range(start, stop, step))` but supports arbitrarily large ranges and is optimized for common cases.
The positional argument pattern matches the [`range()`](https://docs.python.org/3/library/stdtypes.html#range) function.
Keyword arguments should not be used because they can be interpreted in unexpected ways. For example `randrange(start=100)` is interpreted as `randrange(0, 100, 1)`.
Changed in version 3.2: [`randrange()`](https://docs.python.org/3/library/random.html#random.randrange) is more sophisticated about producing equally distributed values. Formerly it used a style like `int(random()*n)` which could produce slightly uneven distributions.
hi opal :D
was just looking up whether Rust's equivalent for range has iteration support for custom types
(apparently, not on stable version)
though I was more interested in whether .. specifically is iterable (as a way to list all instances of a type in order)
quite logically, it's not iterable
i wish i could have made DAWs

you can try making plugins for open-source DAWs
or rewriting parts of them to get features you want
(doesn't Lemon use some open-source DAW? I don't remember what it's named)
you can do that with ffmpeg (without a DAW)
if I remember argument order correctly, this would do x1.5 speedup
ffmpeg -i input.mp3 -af "atempo=1.5" output.mp3
oh
ffplay -i input.mp3 -af "atempo=1.5" -nodisp -autoexit
(like ffmpeg, but plays to the default audio output)
many DAWs use ffmpeg as a library, so familiarity with the filters it has will be useful there
does DAW use ffplay?
there is a library libavcodec (which is a part of ffmpeg basically)
it provides access to various codecs and sound/video effects
I haven't used it so idk the details
(of its use as a library; the standalone ffmpeg is what I mostly work with)
this DAW doesn't seem to use ffmpeg, as far as their dependency list says
https://github.com/Ardour/ardour
https://ardour.org/current_dependencies.html
let me see
VST and equivalents is what DAWs normally use
because those are oriented towards real-time audio
Oof
if you want a static chain of filters without any real-time control, ffmpeg/ffplay is probably the easiest choice
i want something like FL studio
Whatcha doin? Vortex

Pffff
Talking to myself is a talent
One sec. Gonna restart discord
BRB
Now my bt works
And nice
I plan to do some self learning. Then take the python exam to get certified
my brain is starting to collapse
you can try looking into how this one works
https://ardour.org/
by which organisation?
From the official python site. You have to take 2 of its courses. Entirely free to learn
Costs money to take the exams tho
Lemme check for u
There
Python institute
π
no, that's not official python website
Yee
i dont know how i can exactly check
There's other sites that do give the official cert for it. That's one of them that ik ofq
You can even apply for an entry level certification
but it seems to be somehow related to PSF
I signed up for free python learning
I don't even have a computer...
TwT
Alright. Have a gn
Nah u gud
I looked up, they're sponsoring PSF

somewhat dated, but seemingly official stance on certification:
https://wiki.python.org/psf/Certification
https://wiki.python.org/psf/Certification Proposal
https://wiki.python.org/psf/Certification Blackboard
source code (it's mostly C++):
https://github.com/Ardour/ardour
their website also contains build/development instructions
there was quite a lengthy discussion about certs in another channel, probably worth a read
#career-advice message
i think i can never finish this
idk where to look
in the source code
I don't know well either
it's a very large project
i might wanna try C language
not just python
if you sign in to github you can search in a repo through source code
what are you guise doing
@upbeat chasm π
hi, alright one moment lemme try unmute my mic
yea...
by the way
how familiar are u with python?
as in pandas
cause i've been stuck on a problem for start_increment for like 2 days now
oh alright...
oooh aight
I see...
ok
ok so my current problem is
lemme send my code first
!code
yea i'll do pastebin then\
these are my files:
I see
Yea but the problem is
yea no worries
notice how the end index is supposed to follow directly after where it ends off
so basically 499200 + 128 = 499328
yet for some odd reason it jumps to 503168
yea
thats how i check
oh my bad
Ok so basically
alright...
tbh my problem is more of preprocessing
the data for
machine learning
but yea thanks anyway
yea
Ok uh
lemme try agai
1st pic:
second pic:
third pic:
yea
yea so every dataframe has 30 seconds minimum
other than those lesser than durations of 30
but for some reason the 503168
how it arrived to that result is 131 x 3840 + 128
which doesnt match the start index at all
so now im lost
well im not very advanced in python
tbh
but regarding the requirements
they all have to be broken up into intervals of 30 seconds each
then for the leftover data which is
if remainder > 1:
which would be from duration%30
increment the start index by that value returned
