However, I did want to ask if this is applicable to welcome messages (i.e when the bot itself joins), as mine gives a small thank you and gives the default prefix and how to contact us etc as a 1 time message.

And also what about bots with automated messages that're opt-in? e.g Reminders, scheduled announcements, and especially auto-mod.

As for the latter, it doesn't even have to be in direct response to a users message, but would logging that event to some sort of manually configured mod-log channel be in violation?

Ah, I was referring to logging moderation actions taken against users, both manually and via auto-mod, for any staff's retroactive viewing, as a means to keep tabs on who doesn't have the best track record. While audit logs technically log some things, they're very barren and cannot provide the most semantic entries unlike a proper log in a dedicated/configured logging channel. By that I mean allowing for more than just retroactively viewing someone's kicks and ban history.
