I am the owner of Radyonit♪ (@plush fable), a bot that provides radio services only for Turkish users. It is also a bot that can be included in the “Radio” and “Music” categories. Therefore, my bot's tags also include the Turkish tag “Müzik”. However, while my bot comes up first when “Radio” is typed, it does not appear in the “Music” category at all. Thinking that there is a problem with the tags, I have changed them several times and waited for a long time, but the problem is not solved. If my bot appeared in the “Music” category, I would have a chance to reach more people and my bot would rise faster. We also checked on my friends' devices and the result was always the same: It cannot be found in the “Music” category without “Radio” or the bot's name. I think this is unfair and I don't understand why my bot only appears in one category when it provides radio and music services. I kindly ask you to look into the problem and find a solution.

Also, as I mentioned above, when I want to search for other Turkish music bots and I can get results when I type “Müzik”, I cannot reach my bot on the same page despite typing the same result and the same tags and waiting for a long time.

However, there is a situation that the bot can be moved to higher pages according to the number of votes, so no matter what word you search for, if your bot is in a category that contains the searched texts, it appears above according to the number of votes. However, when I type “radyo” it appears at the top because no one else in the “radyo” category has the highest vote except my bot. That's why it appears first.

Hello, I am working on a bot that has been verified, but in trying to prepare it for submission to this site I have a few questions.

My bot requires administrative privileges and runs through extensive testing to ensure that it has it. What do I need to be aware of in terms of that permission when I submit my bot for review and addition?

Part of the process that my bot goes through during joining a guild is a security audit that includes verifying and establishing a commander channel full about and several different factors regarding the owner account and establishing the roles necessary if need be.

No bot requires administrative privileges. Every access point has it's own privilege, and "administrator" is just an easy bypass to everything. Your bot should request the access it needs, and not just ask for a blanket 'administrator' role to avoid issues. This is generally frowned upon and encouraged against in the industry.

If your bot needs to change roles, ask for the role permission, if it's checking server settings, ask for manage server. But don't ask for 'administrator' because most admins will reject it, and most sites like top.gg won't allow bots to be listed that require it.

I'd suggest not using clones and develop your own bot from scratch. Validate it works, and requests permissions it needs(when it doesnt have them) rather than crashing. I'd also suggest making sure the bot is on a server with any host that keeps the bot up 24/7

If you own the copyright to your name and avatar, that's something Discord needs to deal with, not top.gg

You dont need permission. You "friend" does not have a patent on the bot. Mod bots all copy each other don't see them throwing a fit and calling every bot a copy.

one of our old team members was supposed to handle getting the bot on top.gg, but what we didnt know is that he just spammed applications after getting declined without fixing anything that was wrong inbetween. which resulted in the bot getting banned

he lied about why our bot was declined 3 times resulting in the ban

hes now off the team but now were banned from here i want to appeal that
