top.gg is one of the few bot lists with a lot of money making methods like auctions, ads, premium. a lot of the other botlists are slowly dying because of the dominance of top.gg probably why people dont like top.gg 🤷 but top.gg has helped me gain 30 servers but then my votes all came down to 0 and now its more or less looking not so good its hard to find people who will vote.

question: why do top.gg mods have to manually remove dead bots? we can see if the oauth2 link for invite is invalid by calling the get application API endpoint on the application id and seeing if it returns 404. you could do this on a cron job periodically and do it only on bots that haven't had any clicks on their page for some time. it would take some resources but seems to me it's a more useful use of time than making a person do that.
