Hey there, I'd like to report two reviews for abuse. The reviews are by halahost and sblamt on https://top.gg/servers/1131701832574570546. Both of these users joined my server along with their friends, all at once and immediately started causing issues. I've attached some of the things they said, along with them all joining at once to preform a "raid" of sorts. My server is a smaller server so that's why I can safely make the assumption that they were all together, as seeing 5+ people join at once is out of the norm entirely.

I've gone ahead and DMed an mod, searched for people with the similar issue and that's what they were told to do.

Hi, I have the role rewards set up but noticed it doesn’t give users who vote the role. Would this have anything to do with the bots role not being hoisted above this role? I just hoisted it above and tested it on my alt and it does not work. Why? The bot has admin.

Yes, the bot's role needs to be higher than the role its trying to give.

I would make sure the bot's role is higher, then edit your server's page and save (without changing anything) and it should update and start giving roles

So no one knows how to fix the role-assigning issue? I’ve tried using a different role and switching back. Didn’t work. Is there something wrong with the site or the top.gg bot?? No one is getting their roles, it’s been a couple days that it’s happening…

cant reproduce the issue you're having, voting for a test server works fine

ensure the bot still has manage roles and is able to manage the role in question

the highest role of the bot should be above the role you wanna assign people

a bot needs code to run on, you cant just tell it to be online

I suggest looking online on how to get started with bot development, we wont help with that

if you've voted for a bot, the site said voted sucessfully, and you have not gotten any rewards, thats for the bot/server to handle

ask the corresponding support of that bot or ask in the servers community

• The highest role of the Top.gg bot has the permission Manage Roles

So I guess voter roles worked for a day, and now they don’t again. I’m honestly just tired of hearing my people complain lol 😂 it’s not like they get more than the role for it but still. Wish I knew why it wasn’t working and what to do about it that doesn’t involve restructuring my top.gg page every day. I don’t have time for that.

here are a few ways you can try to resolve this if the mentioned above steps are already done:

• kick and re-invite the bot into your server, then ensuring the steps above are still done
• changing your reward role back and forth (changing it to something different, saving, then changing it back to the role you want)
